Why so little

Checkin went smoothly and the room was nice. My only issue was the breakfast, they had a nice varity but only 1 or 2 of things (one english muffin or two chocolate milks). I noticed this every morning (going different times each day) for my 5 day stay. The eggs were warm at best and when I asked if they had a microwave to warm them up, I was told NO without an explanation or additional information. I would recommend anyone staying here but take the breakfast back to your room to warm it up in your in room microwave.

We've been staying here for almost 20 years when we visit our daughter and her family and the whole time it's been maintained nicely. It's an older facility, it was old when we first started staying there but it has it's charms. I like staying in Alpine rather than down in the city, and if there was a newer hotel there I would not return to this property.

Would definitely stay here again. Very clean and had really comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, lots of parking, nice dog area, we didn't use the bbq or pool this time but maybe next time!

Not a terrible choice if you're staying in Alpine

Not a terrible choice if you're staying in or near Alpine, but not great either. The rooms feel old and not super well cared for. I love that they are pet-friendly, and the customer service was excellent. However, on our last morning, we reported flooding in our room and no one came to address it. We threw a bunch of towels down to help sop up the water and waited for maintenance, but no one came within a half hour, so we checked out. Not sure if a pipe burst in the wall or what, but it seemed to be coming in from under the wall to the room next to us (not a bathroom). The use of non-biodegradable plastic utensils is common a lower budget facilities but really should be banned.
