OK for One Night

This property is isolated east of Death Valley. We chose it for one night after hiking in Death Valley during the day. First the good: very friendly staff, excellent bed, and everything in the room worked fine. The bad: the elevator for the second floor rooms drops you off on an area that is two sections of stairs above the second floor, making it awkward to use a luggage cart for larger loads; the restaurant was just OK, with overcooked entres and limited choices more like a bar snack menu. There are no other lodging or restaurant locations in the vicinity, so this wouldn’t be a place to spend more than one night.

Nothing special, but ok

Lobby and restaurant areas smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. Room was ok on smell. Very poor lighting in room - need more lights and stronger light bulbs. Bed was hard, but ok. Bedding was skimpy - needed more blankets or thicker (warmer) blankets. I was cold sleeping. Restaurant was ok, nothing special, but pricey for what you got. Shower had nice pressure and hot water.

I picked Longstreet because of the proximity to Death Valley. It was very clean and safe and the staff are top notch! It's a bit worn and out of date, but that didn't bother me. The bed was very comfortable! It would have been nice to have a fridge and coffee in the room, but I made do without.

What an experience! The Casino, registration and restaurant were combined with a huge pond decorated pond outside. The beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped and clean although somewhat dated. A place like you’ve never seen before but no complaints.

Great place with good food and great staff

This is a quirky but very nice Inn with lots of old machinery and figures around the property and pond. Very comfortable room with plenty of space. Great food at sensible prices and a nice bar area. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

This was an excellent choice for lodging for our trip to Death Valley National Park. Check-in was smooth after a long day of travel. It was nice having restaurant, bar, and convenience store and gas station on the property. Every was clean. All staff members we encountered were nice and helpful! Will definitely stay here again when traveling to this area.

Near the Death Valley spike in Nevada

Hotel was nice. Pool was closed. Rooms were heated. Refridge but no microwave. We did not spend much time at the hotel but did eat meals there. They do have a nice family style restaurant. It is a little close to the gambling area/bar and no real separation. Crowd size was small. Missed the live entertainment which we hard was pretty good. There was some interesting history. Live animals on property along with the other larger than life animals. Will probably stay again if we go back to Death Valley

Wonderful place to stay

Such a great stay!! We loved the atmosphere and the people. The restaurant and store inside were perfect additions! The best part of our stay was Jackpot, the hotel cat, and the animals outside we visited multiple times.
