I booked because I stayed at the Wyndham Nashville in the early 2000s. I didn't realize Wyndham had swallowed all the roadside motels and inns that were trash. My room smelled like smoke. Stains on the ceiling. Outdated fixtures and decor. Bathroom was kinda nasty. I was generous with my rating. Staff was courteous.

Terrible stay

Hundreds of kids there in only 3-4 paid for rooms. These kids ran up and down halls all night. Even after multi calls to front desk the problem did not get resolved. So many kids in pool that others could not enter it. Very bad language used by group and arguing between a few of the guests. My toilet in my room ran all night long, no hot water in my shower. Dingy bathrooms. I will not be staying here again!

Took over an hour for us to get checked in and keys that worked. Greeted by huge roach getting on elevator. Hair wads, lint, dust all over floors. Dust caked on vent of a/c, heating unit. Pubic hair in tub. Spills noticebly in bathroom not cleaned up. Staff clearly frustrated, unprofessional and unaccomadating. Outside was dirty as well with cigarette butts everywhere and what appeared to be maybe locals just hanging out. Since we didnt get checked in til almost 11pm, we stayed and were checked by 630am. We requested to cancel the following evening in afvance and then at check out which was never relayed apparently. Had to wait for someone to come around the front desk in the morning only to say put your keys in the box with no further communication just staring at me. Clearly not interested in being helpful or even being there. Hotels.com has been trying to reach manager to follow up on a refund and continues to not receive any response.

I really enjoyed this place and I’m looking forward to my future stay this month. The room I was given was located in the tower at the end of the hall. It was clean quiet and spacious. I appreciated the updated bathroom and non carpeted floors. It did have ladybugs? Strange for December. I appreciated the fridge and microwave. The layout of the hotel holds a gilded resort like beauty, with its lofty tropical plants, indoor pool, gym, restaurant, “cafe,” various sitting nooks. I enjoyed the free breakfast. I did not trust the quality of the jacuzzi. It is a very interesting place, perhaps it is the Fontainebleau of Ann Arbor

Skip this one

This is not a nice hotel. It is like an enclosed old motel, with the rooms all opening up to an open hallway that overlooks the whole middle, which features a pool. So it’s loud and reeks of chlorine. As we were checking in, the woman at the front desk looked up and yelled at children running down the hallway above us. Everything in the room is run down and gives gross vibes, also a bug crawled out from under the covers as we were getting into it. Would not recommend.
