We enjoyed this house for a family vacation. I liked having all king beds, except for the trundle bed which the grandkids loved sleeping in. Kitchen had everything we needed.
We enjoyed our stay. The pool alarms were a bit cumbersome. We didn't need them. The kitchen is not open to the living space. The mattresses need to be changed, especially in the twin/trundle. Otherwise, it was very peaceful, and we enjoyed access to the canal and lounging in the pool!!
Space was of ample size for our party and in a great location near the beach. I will start out with the positives, which are that the location was nice, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of dishes and amenities, including towels and beach chairs and it was very close to many restaurants and shopping destinations. The pool and hottub were nice, but the hot tub took a long time to warm up and by the time you returned in the evening, it was cold once again. Now for some of the items that were concerning. The photos shown do not indicate that the rooms are dated, particularly the master bathroom shower and some of the furniture shown in the images on the advertisement have been removed, including the foosball table, which we were hoping to play. The higher end coffee and kitchen tables shown in the pictures have been replaced as well. The one thing that was constantly causing us to be irritated are the alarms on all exterior doors, which have to be pressed before opening any exterior door or a very loud and annoying sound shreiks out. This was a serious issue, as our mother cannot raise her arm to reach the door and open it, and was helpless going in and out on her own.The rest of us were constantly opening it and having it go off before we could take items in the space. I believe these are placed there for children, however, it is an ADA issue for those who can't reach up to shut if off, and this is the one item that would make me not return to the property again
Great pool, close proximity to Anna Maria Beach and a host of local restaurants. Excellent space for entertaining outdoors. Large windows throughout the house for a host of natural light, but plenty of seating in shaded areas. This home is true to its description and we recommend.
Everything about our experience with our host was great. The house was clean and we specifically chose it for the location (5 min walk to the beach) and the boat dock. The house itself is dated.
Great rental property. We enjoyed our stay very much. Some highlights were:
-The house was very clean and spacious.
-All beds were very comfortable (bedding and mattresses)
-The pool is large and heated, which was great in January. The hot tub was wonderful (hint: push the spa button about an hour before getting in and the hot tub will be nice and warm).
-The property management company, AMI Accommodations (and specifically Cyndi), were incredibly helpful and responsive. They went the extra mile to ensure we had a great vacation.
-Great location on a canal and within walking distance to the beach.
-Several beach chairs provided
We highly recommend this property.
Our group of old college friends had an amazing time at this canal-front vacation home on Anna Maria Island. The pool and hot tub were a highlight of the rental, providing a fantastic way to relax. We spent so much time just reconnecting and hanging out in the awesome backyard! The house was spacious, clean, and well-furnished, making our stay very comfortable. The beautiful canal views added a perfect touch to the overall experience. We wanted to rebook before we even checked out, and the property management was responsive throughout our stay and helpful with securing next year's stay! Our time there was genuinely enjoyable, and we highly recommend this vacation home for a stress-free and delightful getaway. 5/5 stars.
Everything was great but we thought kayaks were included as they advertised. No dish soap or dishwashing soap was accomodated either. The spa did not get hot as well.
