As other reviewers have said, I would like to give this a 5* but it does not quite make the grade.
We were a family of 5 adults, 1 toddler and 1 baby.
Firstly, it is not a 4 bed-roomed house, it is a 3 bed-roomed apartment with the option of an additional 1 bed-roomed apartment underneath; they are not connected. If there were a door through from the utility cellar or an attached outside stair case it would be much better. We made do with just the 3 bed rooms as none of our party wanted to have to traipse around the outside of the building to get to the separate accommodation, particularly as there was a break in the previously dry weather.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and had plenty of everything needed, including useful items for the baby and toddler.
The decking is in need of repair in a couple of places, we also had to ask for the grass to be cut so we could use the garden, which gave a poor initial impression. Some gates between the grassed area and the parking area would make it safer, and a small gate on the side, so that any inquisitive children cannot get out to the street.
Also 500m to the beach is stretching it a bit. It is certainly walking distance but should be noted that it is downhill there and consequently uphill back.
Having said all this we had a lovely stay, the weather improved daily so we were able to enjoy the beach, which was our aim.
We would recommend this property, certainly as a base for exploring the local area.
