Didn't start off very well, but overall a nice stay.
First let me say that the owner is very nice and responsive, so absolutely no issues there.
Upon arrival we typed in the code to the front door and it wouldn't open the deadbolt (later figured out why - see below). Fortunately there was a side door which we were able to enter. There were two keys for the front door which we used for our stay. This is when we figured out that you have to pull the front door towards you when either locking or unlocking the door.
The other thing that happened was there being no linens or toiletries upon our arrival. This was not in the listing but was in the contract, so technically my fault for not thoroughly reading the contract. Apparently this is standard in Ocean City, but as I told the owner, people coming from Texas would not know this. The owner has now added it to the listing.
The icemaker wasn't working in the freezer, which by the way had a broken handle that was duct taped to the door.
Lastly, when we went to hang the towels we ended up buying one of the towel racks just fell off the wall. It had clearly been broken previously and just hung there to appear unbroken.
On a positive note, there were plenty of beach tags and beach chairs which was great.
So, as stated, overall a decent stay (no major issues) in a perfect location. Would give it 4.5 stars but that's not an option. Just didn't feel it deserved the full 5 stars.
