Weekend away
Grill room menu was very good, service was attentive.
Bathroom was well appointed (though only quibble was that neither a shower cap or hair dryer were provided)
Blu ray player and Nespresso machine were nice touches

perfect short stay
from the minute I arrived till I left the experience was excellent.
Everyone friendly and helpful, room was exceptional and restaurant superb.
I cannot fault it.

Superb boutique hotel
Interior design of this incredible boutique hotel is absolutely stunning and yet very comfortable.
A young team of staff who were mannerly, extremely hard working and friendly. However grossly understaffed. We had a series of waits...on arrival in reception, on the terrace trying to order a drink, in the evening in the bar.no barman...could go on! Finally at one point we left the terrace and went in to get our own drinks from the bar..no pint glasses available and no change even allthough only a ten pound note! Not good enough.

Perfect stay
The hotel looks impressive from the outside and the inside is just as impressive. The whole hotel is decorated in muted white and black tones with comfortable seating areas throughout the reception areas. Our bedroom was spacious with a large bed and ensuite. The towelling robes and White Company toiletries were a nice added bonus. The rooms had all the facilities you could possibly need. The dining area was comfortable and the food was delicious. We stayed for dinner and breakfast and both were faultless. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They directed us to the local town, which was about a 10 minute walk away, where there were a few shops, cafés and pubs. A visit to Cocoa Mountain the local chocolate cafe, which served a great chocolate milkshake is a must.
