This is a sweet little house that can pack a lot of people in it. The layout is a bit unconventional, but happened to work well for us. The deck and pool is so nice - beautiful shade trees and an incredible view, with space for a lot of people. The high points were clean, but it was clear that no one has gotten in the corners in a long time. The walls, baseboards and corners were, quite frankly, disgusting, thick with stains, dust, dirt and grime.

10/10 recommend!! The house was amazing and beautiful but most importantly clean! The house does sleep 8. The beds look small in the photos given but they are actually a great size and they're pullout mattresses underneath as well. Me and my friends enjoyed our stay and loved seeing the bucks and deers in the morning. The view was great as well.

Overall the stay here was great. Communication to begin with was strange, needing to verify our identity a number of time but once that was done we had all the information we needed up front. The house was more run down than anticipated. Clearly a rental. Lawn was not cut, they told us someone was coming to clean the pool but never did. Canopy fabric was ripped and flopping all over. Pool floaties were thrown on the patio in a pile. The pool jets turned off at night and could not figure out how to turn the pool lights on. The driveway is STEEP! We were asked to bring down the garbage which would have been very difficult so we kept it up top. Nothing overly bad by any means and the view makes up for most things. Easy check out process.

Great location and overall very nice. I do wish the grill was a propane grill not a charcoal smoker/grill. Also as we had just had a lot of rain and flooding in TX so the house could have benefitted from someone making a visit the day before. There were some slight cleanliness things that come with a closed house and a lot of rain. I do wish the listing had said something about the noise restrictions rather than waiting until the check in information to provide that information. Overall very pleasant, well decorated, easy check in/out and convenient to the location.

Perfect Getaway with an Amazing View

The house on the outside didn’t seem like much but once we stepped inside, we were amazed at how modern the flooring and decor was. The house was also very clean and we had folded towels for us on each bed. The cooking items are a little light (not many pots and pans to choose from) but we made it work. The pool and back patio area were the absolute best part. It was so nice to relax on a float and watch the sunset. The only thing I would recommend to the property owner is additional lighting for the driveway. It is VERY dark at night and the driveway is VERY steep. Overall, we had a great stay and can’t wait to go back.

Gorgeous property

The pool, deck and view are incredible. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was very clean. The beds are comfy but all the pillows are huge, lol. If you prefer a smaller/less dense pillow, I'd recommend packing one. There are grocery & liquor stores a short drive down the road. The street is very quiet. The communication was on point. We really have zero complaints & wouldn't hesitate to return. We even got a very cool lightning show the 1st night we arrived. The grounds are rusticly beautiful, simply gorgeous for pictures.

Seclusion

We are a family of introverts who love nature and quiet. As a native Texan who lived in Austin area until 16 years ago, we found the over development on the other side of the lake a no go. This house was perfect for us. If you are disabled, it is a no go unless you use a cane and are very careful as the deck is not safe. Other than that a few cleanliness issues, we loved it and would recommend if there is a need for seclusion.

A TREAT!

The overall stay was fantastic, we absolutely loved the patio and got full use of the pool. Also, the view cannot fully be captured in photos. If you’re here reading this review, there’s no reason to go any further. The space was enough for the 6 people we had plus there were trundles and could have slept more. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the entire space, we usually go to places and have to clean but not at this spot. Highly recommended, we will be back to this house with a view. Thank you!!

A home away from home

We wanted a relaxing spring break to enjoy with our kids. We found this house, and what convinced us was the pool with that view. This house did not disappoint. The house has a great outdoor space and the neighborhood is very quiet. This house is equipped with what you need to have a great time. Plenty of room inside for everyone and has a great layout for you to enjoy the view from inside the home or outside. My kids enjoyed the pool so much, and we really liked the privacy of this home. We will definitely consider coming back.

Not as advertised

This place needs major maintenance. It looks nothing like the pictures. The grass was overgrown, every lounger by the pool had large holes in them, half of the string lights were out, multiple blinds inside were broken, holes in the bathroom walls. Musty smell when we walked in. Really wished I had brought a candle. I sent pictures to the management company with no response. We had no hot water for the majority of our stay. The plumber finally fixed the issue less than 24 hours before we left. We will definitely never stay here again

Pool with a view

Pool was fantastic, comes with a view! We encountered a few issues and property management was attentive. There is one TV, none in the bedrooms. Some fans need to be replaced in one of the bedrooms, quite noisey but it’s an easy replacement/ investment by owner to be made. Outdoor area needs some love but we would stay here again.

Ladies Weekend

My family tries to get together once a year. It’s all women and we age from 87 to 60. You never know what will happen so while we can we try to do this every year. The house was great and the view was beautiful.
