Central hotel for short break

All the staff were very efficient and worked hard. Our room was spacious and bed was comfortable although seemed a bit short. Breakfast was good and waiting staff very professional. Our bathroom could have done with some attention as two of the floor tiles were cracked . Also the sink drain seemed to need cleaning as very slow to drain and gunge came up .

The staff at The fairfield have always been nice and very helpful and the only complaint we have is about room 51 which is classed as Executive but it is a standard room with a small outdated heater on the wall.

Stayed here for a night to and was very impressed. The hotel is lovely in architecture in the main area's of the hotel, oldie victorian style (I think). My room was huge! Bathroom was Huge! Hallways were fine, a little tired but clean. Staff were incredible throughout and couldn't do enough. Views over towards Arran are beautiful and the Ayr beach promenade is on the doorstep.

Room 25 jacuzzi doesn’t work had to phone reception to be told our kids very disappointed because of that. that also the door to hotel across from our room was locked in morning no mention of this on door had to walk round hotel to main entrance. Room perfectly clean and comfy bed

The staff at the hotel were excellent, they were friendly and nothing was a problem,the food was delicious, i was staying to attend a wedding in the brig o doon hotel, so unfortunately didnt have time to use the leisure facilities. The public areas in the hotel were lovely, my room was a little dated and dark, but other than that i would highly reccomend this hotel.
