Room was adequate enough.. price was as expected for Banff. Clean enough, but definitely could use updating. The biggest complaint was the smell. We stayed on the second floor, and two hallway vents blasted air into the space that smelled heavily of food. It was awful. That being said- the food in the actual restaurant, Farm & Fire, was absolutely fantastic. We just didn’t want to smell it near our room!

Mathieu's the best
Mathieu checked us in for our 8 night stay and he was fantastic. Knowledgeable, professional, courteous. You can tell he's just a great guy. One afternoon, he even greeted me with "Aloha" remembering that I was visiting from Hawaii. He just goes beyond the call and I wanted to recognize him for that. He was much appreciated.

New Years Eve in Banff is magical, but the hotel needs to make sure that the residents are taken care of e.g The Hot Tub was not warm, The heating in the room could not be adjusted, and the room looked a little unkempt.

Overall good, but could use some refining
It was a nice room with good amenities, but the conditioner in the shower was empty. The beds were not comfortable. There were a lot of sounds from pipes in the roof that went on for 5 hours for 2 nights of our 5-night stay, which disturbed our sleep. The Wi-Fi was good, and the sofa bed was a nice touch. Thankfully, the jacuzzi and sauna were open. The jacuzzi was a bit lukewarm, and one day, several young men and women were fraternizing and drinking in it, which isn't the biggest issue, but I often saw kids come in, so it was inappropriate for a public bath.

Overall, very nice property, the living room area was old, but a very comfortable bed. Great location in the middle of Banff. A lot of restaurants nearby and my favorite was Fire and Farm inside the hotel. Cleaning service was excellent so was the underground parking. However, if they can just fix the data of furniture and decor, it will be a five star hotel.

This Hotel is in a FANTASTIC location! Such an easy walk to downtown and all Banff has to offer. The only thing was we weren’t told the hot tub was closed upon check in or that they had hot springs vouchers available but overall it was a great stay!
