On the positive side, the home was in a good location for proximity to Acadia National Park. This was the main attraction for our visit and we had a very nice time. The accommodations were comfortable.
We had two issues with the home. The description, at the time of booking, specifically stated private gas grill and beach access. The beach access implied that you could reasonably walk to the waterfront. This is not the case unless you walk a mile down Highway 3 which is not pedestrian friendly.
The shared gas grill was not a big deal to walk to the next property to prepare food. Just felt like there was a bait and switch since the description specifically stated a private gas grill. I called customer service, and they have since updated the descriptions, so hopefully future renters do not have the same issues.
Other call outs: The home does have a second floor for employees only which has a separate exterior entrance. It is not apparent from the pictures or description. Not a big deal but was not expected.
