We chose the apartment instead of a hotel for a couple of reasons:
- terrace, to be used for my mother (80) to sit in quiet when we as a family where out. The terrace was closed for three days for maintenance. If this was communicated we would not have chosen the apartment, as this was scheduled(!) maintenance, this could have been mentioned. (scheduled as it was sanding and painting the terrace)
- the website (Dutch) mentioned free parking. Apperently After 10 e-mail back and forward this was incorrect there are costs and even more expensive then other parking area's. The parking wasn’t even under the building
- then the parking spot was not big enough for our car (Volvo) - two people complaint.
- the apartment was not clean at all - dust was everywhere .
- the noise on the street side was not ok. We lived in a city centre and you can isolate your windows much better then in this apartment. the noise is really to much - should have been mentioned. (window was also broken, after we mentioned it: the repair service came the next day, thought it did not do anything for the noise.)
Also the check-in did not go smooth, the process should work, but I did not receive anything, and after three calls I received the wrong codes. The person who helped was nice and I assume this was an unfortunate glitch.
