Fontanella was perfect for our stay in Barcelona! The location is so convenient for accessing everything we wanted to see, the staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable and clean! Only downside was how small the room was but we knew that beforehand and it had everything we needed with a great little balcony and view of the street.

Centrally located!
Coming from the airport take the aerobus to catalunya square...the last stop pay 5.90 euros It is 5 min walk very good location. Staff was really exceptionally helpful with directions etc. Clean rooms and you can leave your luggage till late night. Must stay here!

Very well located, walking distance to lots of main attractions and Catalunya Square where most daily tours departs. The hotel is basic but clean, quite and with very friendly staff willing to help. It’s an excellent deal for the price.

You could not ask for a better location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The accommodations were basic, however for the price, location, and helpfulness of the staff you can’t beat Hostal Fontenella! If I go back to Barcelona I’d definitely look to stay there again.
