The day before our check-in I called to speak with someone because up until now I had been automated to death with a scripted response about early check in. The person I spoke to had a tone in his voice like he hated his life and hated his job. He said I would get a text between 10-2 if I could check in "early". The next day, I called in and I could only text to see if I can check in early and the text said if it was possible I would be told between 12-3. What is the point if check in is 4? So, we did not get a text we arrived at around 6pm to find the house NOT cleaned. Dirty pads, bloody toilet paper in wastebaskets, beds not made, dirty counters with food on the stove and laundry on/in the machines. Cleaners showed up around 6pm and kicked us out. We had to wander NH for 2 hours before we were allowed back in the home. Vacasa ghosted us on every call and did not help. While on the phone with VRBO vacasa texted asking how we enjoyed the cleanliness of the home. I was beside myself. When we re-entered the home, it was NOT clean at all. We had to buy our own bedsheets and clean the home ourselves!!!! Noone from Vacasa called to say they would reimburse us even after multiple attempts by myself and after VRBO called them. They told VRBO they would call us with a confirmation of how much they would reimburse us and they never did. Instead they texted us to let them know when we left the home on our last day. Stay away from this place and Vacasa properties.
