If you want to stay in a quiet place away from the tourist crunch in Bath this is the place for you. The owners communicated promptly and informatively. Very personable, as upon arrival they left us a handwritten note welcoming us and advising they had left bread, butter, milk and eggs in the frig for our first morning meal. Enter the postal code and the GPS will take you there. Some congested one lane roads but beautiful countryside. Front door parking and covered entry. Fully equipped kitchen and large dining table. Freezer is in living area and they could use a couple of ice trays ready to go, as us Americans like ice in just about all our drinks. Comfy sofa and arm chair. Two nice size bedrooms with two full baths, but no hand towels or face towels. Big tub/shower combo in roomy bathroom attached to master bedroom with big comfy bed. If you want a top sheet but not the warmth of the comforter, it has snaps at the bottom so you can take the comforter out of the duvet. No air conditioning or even a fan, so you have to crack windows. Watch the step ups—I stubbed my toe several times. The washer and dryer are in the cabinets going downstairs. When we used the washer the water ran down the front of the cabinet and wetted the carpet on the stairs. Upon further investigation we discovered the PVC pipe wasn’t even connected. I emailed the owner and they said no worries they would take care of it
