What a nice surprise! From the outside, the Sumac Chalet looked like a quaint little cabin tucked in the woods. But once inside the mix of finishes and furnishings were fun and inviting. There was even a SleepNumber bed just like at home and set it to 65 for a good night's sleep.
First thing we did was hike the trail behind the cabin. Easy stroll through the forest ending at the shore at Roy's Marina. Other adventures included a ferry ride to Madeline Island to browse the galleries, eat pizza, and hike to the sea caves. We also took the boat cruise through the Apostle Islands for breathtaking views. Lastly, we even won a few bucks at the casino up the street!
Overall, our trip was both relaxing and adventurous and the location of the cabin enabled that to happen.
