Wonderful Getaway With Friends
We rented this home over Columbus Day weekend with a group of our friends that we try to do once a year. We could not have asked for a better weekend staying in this home. The check in was flawless and the hosts were readily available if we had any questions. The home comes stocked with anything you could possibly need. Summer Send Off
5 stars. Our group visited over Labor Day Weekend with extended family ranging from grandparents down to infants. Everyone was impressed with this property. The home was spacious, clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a great weekend. The lake/beachfront were shallow, clean and sandy - perfect for the younger children in our group. The boat and tubes provided hours of fun for the older kids and adults. We also loved using the putting green and fire pit. Round Lake is great - the sand bar is directly in front of the home, and we went to Driftwood for ice cream and coffee. The hosts were friendly, generous and great communicators. The neighbors on both sides were also very friendly and helpful. Hope to visit again in the future. Highly recommend!

A fun vacation rental on Round Lake, Michigan
Terrific place. Lots of space. Beautiful decor. Right on Round Lake. Loads of things to do at the home and in the vacinity. Short drive to Lake Michigan. Owner communicated well. Kitchen was well appointed. Fun sandbar in lake just off of rental shore. Property manager was very approachable, too. Great place for a large family!

A Fantastic New Tradition!
Our multigenerational family stayed at this lake house and everything was perfect! The house is gorgeous with great indoor and outdoor spaces- kitchen was perfect to host our big family communal dinners; the beach and swimming area is perfect- nice sandy bottom and gradual depth for the kids! Having 5 bathrooms was fantastic. 3+ fridges and a bar area allowed room for food and beverages for all. Gerry and Liz also provided kayaks, a swim raft, floats, a great speaker to use outside, etc! And we walked to dinner and ice cream multiple nights! Can’t wait to come back next year!

Can’t beat the view
Group of 16 stayed at this huge house. Tons of room, 3 levels, not counting the 3 levels outside beachside. Beautiful clear lake with a nice sandy beach. House is immaculate, with plenty of amenities at your disposal. Bar downstairs is super cool, with a big ice maker and a wine cooler. Main floor kitchen level has a huge island with another ice maker and a food warmer! If you’re looking to take a large group somewhere for a trip, this is the spot. Breweries, great eats and atmosphere at The Strand across the lake, and plenty of golf courses. I recommend Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club, but don’t try and sneak a 5 some in they’ll get ya 😬 Also the owners were very friendly and only a text away with any kind of issues we might have had, but had zero issues and zero complaints. Will definitely be going back!

Super Nice!
From communicating to the owners, to the check in, to our awesome time there . . . this was a 5 star stay! The owner went out of their way to accommodate us. They installed a handheld shower head to help us out, gave us some great suggestions on places to eat and met our every need! The location on the lake is amazing. The kids had a great time playing in the lake and running around on the beach. The adults had plenty of space for our sleeping/bath needs and great kitchen and living area for our large group. The home was very clean and we had plenty of parking space. If we head up that way again, we will definitely stay at this lovely home.

Fantastic lake house
We had a group of 14 family members stay for a long weekend to attend my daughter's PhD graduation from MSU. It was the perfect house, described perfectly and in a beautiful location. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. The communication with the owners was fantastic. We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate this special occasion.

Family Gathering
Had a wonderful time gathering family from many directions. Gorgeous home! Property was clean, spacious, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious and plenty of room for our crowd of 16 adults. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked. Made it easy to cook for a crowd. The outdoor space is fun and inviting and has plenty of space for relaxing with family and friends while enjoying the beautiful lake view. A reasonable distance getting to and from Notre Dame University in which we enjoyed attending sporting events. Property owner was great at checking in, easy to communicate with, flexible and readily available. An overall wonderful getaway for our family. Definitely look forward to staying here again.

The house had everything we could have wanted and everything was top notch. And the Gormans are wonderful hosts. Super friendly and they gave us all the info we needed about what there was to do in / around the lake. Second time staying here - and would definitely come back again!

The Perfect House for 5 Families!
The house was perfect for all 22 people! We had 12 children (ages 3 months-12 years old) and 10 adults. The number of rooms and bathrooms was exactly what we needed. The beach was great for the children. Very clean and sandy just like they say. There was an abundance of towels for the beach and bathroom (not many wash cloths if you need those), silverware, outdoor seating, fridges, and cups/plates. The ice maker was great too! The only negative thing was the amount of stuff in the bedroom drawers, pantry and fridges. The host was very kind to offer anything we needed but there was so much stuff. With 5 families staying for a week, we brought a lot of our own stuff. That added a little extra work. We definitely made due and condensed things in the fridges but it was hard to lay out clothes so we just had to leave it in our suitcases. In past rentals, the host would lock their personal things in a closet or cabinet. It was just something we weren’t used to. That was minor compared to how perfect everything else was! We have been doing these trips for 5 years and this was our biggest group yet! This house absolutely checked off everything we needed and wanted. The kids were safe to play in the water solo while the parents relaxed on the beach!!! We have already discussed going back next year!

Mom’s 80th Birthday Celebration
This was such a great rental home! Would recommend to everyone. The lake house was in a beautiful location. We had 20 people celebrating my Mom’s 80th birthday. Can’t wait to visit again. We went to The Strand, Dockside Dan’s, BTs, casino, winery, golfing, trivia at Sister Lakes Brewing, and a boat day. Perfect place for viewing sunsets. Thank you for sharing your lake house.

Anniversary celebration
Beautiful home and amenities- we enjoyed our visit there and with each other- and the grandkids loved playing in the sand and at the water’s edge. We spent one day in St Joe which was just beautiful! A few family members have allergies so some of the dog hair was a little bothersome for them, but other than that it was very nice! We spent each night around the fire table which was a great way to end each day!

Idyllic Beach House! We had a great family reunion here. Can't wait to come again.
We were 5 families who gathered at this beautiful beach house for Spring Break. The owners are very responsive and go the extra mile to make sure that the guests have a comfortable stay. The house had a couple of kayaks for us to use, which was a lot of fun for the family. The house was clean and as per the description. We look forward to coming again sometime in the summer or fall, to make the most of the outdoor amenities that come with the house.

Thanksgiving trip
We loved staying at the Gorman Lakehouse! My family of 20 (siblings, cousins, spouses, and children) all fit comfortably in this beautiful home for a Thanksgiving trip. The kitchen was well-equipped for our needs, and stores nearby provided everything else. Communication was very clear and thorough with the host, Jerry, throughout the entire process. We hope to visit again in the summer to partake in all the warm weather activities in the area!

Our home for our wedding weekend!!
The lake house was absolutely beautiful, and just what our guest and I needed. With beautiful views of the lake and plenty of space this home more than accommodated. The owners are very pleasant and communication was never an issue. They even gifted us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our big day. Very thoughtful. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Benton Harbor, St. Joseph area.

Great Family Vacation
We had an amazing family vacation. The beach and lake were great and the shallow water made it perfect for our granddaughter. She spent hours in the lake. The kayaks, paddle board and corn hole were huge hits. Our beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. All the neighbors are very friendly. Great house and Great Lake!
We stayed at the house in early August and had a great time! Everything was clean and in good condition. The kitchen island is a great shape for serving food and hanging out. Tons of fridge space and loved the ice maker and warming drawer! Lots of beach towels which was super convenient. Great location for walking to Sister Lakes Brewery, The Strand, Dockside Dan’s, etc. The owners were great to work with. We loved our vacation!

Beautiful place, location, view and more
The owners of this property could not have been more accommodating. The house was beautiful with a perfect sunset view. Great beach with all the equipment available. Good fishing lake and clear water and sandbar fun. Fully equipped kitchen. The ice drawer was fantastic! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The neighborhood was family friendly and walking to breweries and ice cream is always fun. Can't say enough good things. Looking forward to next year.
