I liked it since it was quiet but yet within walking distance to the major attactions [depending on your interests]. The U-Bahn was very close thus making access to other area's very easy.

Great stay at Grimm Berlin Mitte. We stayed on the apartment which was big with two bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Worked great for us since we were 4 adults with one baby. Short walk to U Bahn and not far from Museumsinsel.

Hotel Grimm’s Alte Jakobstraße
Room was clean & tidy, was lacking in small extras to make stay more comfortable - no fridge in room, no bottled water (although tap water is fine to drink), glasses in room are tiny. I had mentioned in booking the stay was for my birthday & requested a room upgrade but this was not acknowledged. Parking on the streets around the hotel is free over night but parks are difficult to come by after 9pm.

A bit dark around the area at night and ten minute walk to metro station.No facilities at the hotel ,no English TV channels ,no facilities such as tea/coffee in room.Staff wanted to charge 15 euros extra per night because we used sofa bed. One staff member Ali was helpful with printing boarding passes.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. It’s perfectly situated for trips into the centre, but also in a very quiet area. We slept really well. It was disappointing not to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We had booked a ‘superior’ room, but it was quite basic. We honestly couldn’t see what made it any different to a standard room.

Beautiful suite, friendly staff
Our stay at Grimms Hotel Berlin Mitte was wonderful! The staff were super friendly and gave us a free upgrade on our room so that we had a beautiful suite and a patio overlooking the street. The staff also held our luggage after we checked out so that we could go exploring for the day and come back in time to pick it up and head to the airport. It was easily the best stay on our trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. What let it down was the lack of an English language TV programme, which most non-Germans would want, and no facility in the room for tea/coffee.
