We needed a change of venue after the stay at home order for COVID was lifted in DE. This condo had a nice view of the ocean, the complex was self-contained (only members could be on that beach or use their pools-thorough cleaning every 2 hours on the pools), it was across the street from a Dunkin and a few restaurants, and just a short walk to the main street in Bethany.
The condo was clean. There were new dressers in all the bedrooms, we paid for the linen services which provides clean towels, bed linens, make the beds and dishwasher detergent/soap/tp/papertowel starter kit (I would recommend!). Nice art work throughout.
Only negative (and not really) there wasn't a single empty cabinet in the kitchen for food. After some rearranging, I found the space I needed.
It was just what we needed! A nice bonus: the beach to the right of this condo complex is also a private beach for those beachfront homes - so the area was never too crowded.
REGARDING low rating for Property Manager: I know we are dealing with COVID, but there were not nearly enough employees on at 4PM to handle check-in. I stood in line for 40 minutes. I got in line at 4:15PM. The line behind me just grew.
Additionally, the communication was abysmal prior to our arrival. I sent an email (website said response time is usually 1 day - I heard back 9 days later). I ended up calling before I received the return email because I never received the welcome letter and didn't know what was going on. I waited on hold for 45 minutes before someone was able to speak to me. When I did get a CSR on the phone, she was great. In the end it all worked out.
I hope COVID was the reason for such poor service.
