Great location and family friendly cabin

We had an amazing stay at this cozy family-friendly cabin! The location was perfect, just a short drive to the Bear Mountain ski slopes, which made driving to the slopes super easy. The cabin was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids especially loved the backyard hill for sledding—so much fun and right outside the door! The cabin also had a ton of great games to keep everyone entertained, which was a nice touch. The owners were fantastic, very communicative and quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, this place was a perfect getaway for our family, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Another great visit!

This is the 3rd year we've rented this cabin. We keep coming back because it's a great cabin for our family and has great sledding right out back. We enjoy the snow play and then coming inside to get warm, play games, bake and relax. Owner's are super easy to work with and very communicative. In all likelihood, we'll be booking again.

Location, location

Tiffany and Tom were tentative and quick to respond to any questions we had. Quaint cabin, with a perfect sledding hill in the back for the kids. Less than a mile from Bear Mountain. Plenty of room in the cabin with many sleeping options. Great experience!

Great Stay!

The property was great and everyone had a great time. Everything was clean and ready and really close by. Also - we utilized DoorDash which was a lifesaver. There are some really popular restaurants (Grizzly Manor cafe) that have a huge line and we had it delivered. Game changer! Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely house

The house was on a nice quiet street with ample parking. House was clean and everything worked including hot water and heater. Game room with pool table, foosball table, darts and family games was great. Owner was very responsive and great overall.

Wonderful Christmas weekend at Bow Canyon!

Bow Canyon Hideaway was the perfect cozy and comfortable cabin for our family of 4. We enjoyed all of the beautiful Christmas decorations, made us feel like we were home away from home. Tiffany and Tom are very friendly and helpful hosts who strive to make sure you have a wonderful stay!

Truly cozy!

True to the name, we really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin! I loved the open floor plan and the sectional big enough for our family of 4. We really enjoyed playing pool and foosball—even our 18 y.o. and 16 y.o. stayed off of their devices. Thomas & Tiffany made the booking and check in process easy. You can tell they really go above and beyond so their guests enjoy themselves. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Bow Canyon Hideaway

Moonridge Spring Break

My family of four had a great weekend at this Moonridge cabin. We got lucky with a foot of snow during our stay and the kids had a blast playing on the snow covered hillside behind the cabin. Easy access to the Village, grocery stores and very close to the Big Bear Zoo. The living room was perfect for the four of us to relax and enjoy. Pet friendly. The property owner was very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing all around!

Everything about our stay was amazing! The cabin was wonderful and had everything we needed! The property manager is amazing! Communication was clear and was always quick to respond! Cozy Cabin in the Woods

My stay at this cabin was nothing short of memorable. Whether I was curled up with a book by the fire or enjoying the scenic views from the porch, every moment was filled with a sense of peace and contentment. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Blizzard FUN

First, Tiffany and Tom are amazing hosts! The property has all the amenities needed for a family of 6 with all age ranges of kids from elementary age to highschool, and would be great for a house full of adults, too. Thanks for allowing us some flexibility with the check out process due to the blizzard of the century we just had. We had such a great time! From booking the visit all the way to actually arriving home, we had very prompt, open communication with our hosts. 5 stars +++

Great choice for sledding

We had a wonderful trip. The cabin is just as described in the listing and met all our needs. It has lots of amenities - kitchen is stocked as is the game room. But the big draw was the excellent sledding just outside. We spent countless hours out there sledding and sliding with the kids. We'd definitely go back!

Getaway with young children

The cabin was a great space for my family with my 4 and 1 year old kids. Tiffany was incredibly responsive for my request for an early check-in for the little ones. She was very communicative before and during check-in. Upon arrival, there were some technical issues with the lock. There was someone actively trying to fix it and it was resolved. Since we were there early before regular check-in, I'll call it a wash. The cabin felt clean and we enjoyed all of the games provided. We were happy that there were sleds available for us to use so we didn't have to buy our own. A few tips: 1. The nest heating is uneven for upstairs and downstairs. We should have utilized the space heaters better... they just scare me with the little ones running around. 2. The kitchen had lots of expired condiments and the refrigerator/freezer was a third full of food that could be tossed to make space for the next guest. 3. We drove all the way up to the cabin without chains and had to put chains on for the last 3 minutes to get up the hill. We came about a week after heavy snowfall and somehow it was iced over in that one spot on the hill. This is not the fault of the cabin owners- just a heads up for future guests to be prepared with chains. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope we can return with our kids in the future.

We enjoyed our stay, the cabin is very conveniently located for the ski slopes a big plus is the private area below the house for sledding. We also enjoyed playing pool and sitting round the fire watching movies. The host was really helpful and communicated well. Great stay.

Perfect in every way!

My husband and I brought our two kids (7 and 9), dogs, and joined my parents for 3 nights right after the new year. The host was so accommodating throughout the entire process! She responded quickly (within minutes) anytime we had a question, made sure we got in ok, and even recommended a website to check on the weather and road conditions for our drive. She made sure the cabin was warm and the driveway was plowed of snow before we arrived. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed while there. The hill on the property was perfect for sledding (sleds provided by host) and letting our dogs zip around in the snow! After playing in the snow all day, we were able to enter the cabin through the downstairs game room, put our snow clothes in the dryer, sit in front of the fireplace to warm up, and play pool and foosball. My kids loved that there was an Alexa downstairs in the game room so they could listen to all of their favorite music while playing board games, and doing the puzzles that the hosts had available. In the evening we would cook dinner in the kitchen together, then pick a movie from any of the different streaming apps from one of the 4 firestick TVs in the cabin. The neighborhood was beautiful for walks with our dogs, and the location was central to skiing and restaurants. All information needed, such as restaurants, hospitals, and local activities was organized neatly in a binder for guests as well. We had the most wonderful time, and will definitely be back!
