There was hair in the shower. I found a Shirt behind the bathroom door from previous guest. There was dog hair on the blanket and decorative pillows were dirty they never been washed.plus we found a bug on the wall. That was really cold, that split unit wasn’t really working. We couldn’t take a shower, we had to cover our pillow cases with our shirts to sleep. Pictures are really great but real picture is not. I don’t recommend and will never be back there again.

Looks nice, but not worth it

Room wasn't ready. the hotel sent me a message saying I could pay for early check in. I called and set it up at 9am. I arrived at 1 and my room wasn't ready. Then my key didn't work. then after dinner my key didn't work again. shower is horrible, no pressure at all.

It’s the kind of hotel where pictures look better than reality. Shuffle game doesn’t have sand to play with. Walked in to no one at front area. Check in not informative or welcoming. Rooms definitely not very clean.

Unfortunately there's not a lot of great hotel options in Big Bear. Although this hotel looks boutique on the website, it's really quite run down. They.ve added cute furniture and new fixtures but everything else is old, stained and cracked. Their name says swim club but there's one pool area which is pretty junky and the ceiling is literally falling apart. If you're there for one night or it's fine and very centrally located (walking distance to the Village and a 5 minute drive to Snow Summit) but it still doesn't feel worth the price of $200.

Comfortable. The hotel is in the mountains where there are trees, dirt, and on our visit snow. Don’t expect it to be spot-free. Wilderness will find its way in. That said, our room was well appointed and a good place to stay. I would return.

no hot water for showering, water doesn't even consider warm!!!!!!!!! someone came to check without fixing it, but then, no one follows up the issue. sink was clogged as well; they did fix it. thanks god. Spa doesn't work; water is only warm enough not making you sic; the switch is broken, so you won't be able to turn on the spa. Other than the bad, The room is fine, love it. It closes to where I park. Also, The cats in the motel were so cute. free decent coffee is awesome!

Nice cozy hotel located walking distance from the village, shopping mall, dinning area and the big bear lake. the room and bathroom needs some upgrades and repairs as the shower knob was kind of broken. The font desk people were very nice and courteous. Overall we liked the place. I give 4.5 stars.
