Staff friendly. Room good. Hotel nice looking. Great breakfast. Easy walk to Birmingham New Street and Moor Street and Bullring shops. Major building work right outside over quite a wide local area. Quiet at night however.

Amazing hotel, clean and high quality

Great hotel in central Birmingham that is right near the train station and bullring shopping centre. Staff are friendly and polite, room service ladies did a great job, building looks nice on the outside and inside. Views are great from the window even with all the construction going on it was nice in the evening seeing the crane lights and buildings lit up. The air conditioning doesn’t seem to be functioning but my room was provided with an extremely decent portable heater that quickly heated the room. Carpets had minor noticeable stains in places which might have bothered some people but it’s a hotel with a constant stream of visitors so can’t fault them. Breakfast was amazing and has a decent variety of food to sample including smoothies, yogurts, fruit, cereals, toast etc. Highly recommend this hotel for a stress free stay in Birmingham. You get what you pay for with this hotel which is luxury treatment.

Comfortable sleep, lovely shower and decent room. Sadly bed sheets had blood stains on it upon arrival which hadn't been looked at by cleaning team properly. AC was very noisy throughout the night. Towels smelt funky, hairdryer wouldn’t work properly. Room phone was not working either when trying to ring for room service so overall, the stay was a disappointment.

A pleasant stay

It was a pleasant stay. For the most part, staff were friendly and helpful. But only 1 bar person who disappeared from time to time, which made getting served a little challenging. No heating in the rooms, but a blow heater was provided, which isn’t ideal for me medically, so, no heating in my room at all.p (January stay) and the desk socket not working. Buffet breakfast was very good. We were a small group of 4 rooms.

Pleasant and Clean

A pleasant stay. Very comfortable bed. Room clean. Bathroom clean. Breakfast was ok - sausage and bacon over cooked. God central location. Only downside, if being picky, stick an extra couple of pound on the bill and provide enough milk etc in the room. Quite skinny.

Decent hotel, things need improving

Stayed for a friends 50th birthday. Hotel is lovely in parts but a bit shabby in others and needs a bit of attention. The breakfast was good and the room was large. The main issue was that the rooms were absolutely freezing and the heating was not working. Myself and my 4 friends all had a plug in hired heater in our rooms. You couldn’t obviously have this on during the night so it was absolutely freezing when in bed.
