This property is very tired and there are lots of damp patches around the ceiling hotel decor both in the reception areas and corridors. It is situated on a very busy road amongst industrial businesses hence loads of heavy traffic inc lorries etc. The breakfast was rather disappointing as there was very little choice and it wasn’t very warm having stood for so long. On the plus the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely helpful staff. Very nice rooms. Dog friendly. Not much sound proofing between rooms. There was a very noisy party upstairs from us and we had an early start next day, but once informed, the staff put a stop to it. This was our second stay. Will definitely be back next year (oh, and the restaurant food was very good also)

We were really disappointed with the hotel. From the pictures and details online this seemed like a decent place to stay for the night. However the room we had, room 104 didn’t provide the best nights sleep. The floor boards above were really creeky- for most of the nights those boards were making so much noise and we could even hear the guests staying in the rooms near us :(

Good hotel close to conference

Very welcoming and helpful staff. all the facilities we needed. Bath plug didn't work but this was the only thing we could fault. we enjoyed our stay

No real change since 2002

Pros: its closeness to the event I was attending
Cons: See above
Location: Set in a really poor run-down area
2 day stay. Electrical service in 2 rooms faulty on arrival - could not use room for 2 hours whilst being attending to-was offered other room but by that time faults were repaired. The whole of the outside is shabby in need of thorough redecoration and didn't look as if it had been done since last stay some 15 years ago. Something should be done to control the time the 'Bin' men come - 4:30am is not good enough. Otherwise a reasonable experience - Staff very friendly

ok to put your head down

A very hot room on top floor .Carpets worn, fire extinguisher missing, avacado bath suite from the 70's .I was genuinely shocked at how obviously old the bathroom was for such a large chain of hotels.
