Mediocre stay

Plenty of parking close to the hotel, check in was nice and easy, paid for the breakfast £15 as it wasn’t included when I made the reservation. Unfortunately in my opinion the room furniture and decoration was very dated, curtains were worn with a hole in one of them. Breakfast was in the restaurant which is adjacent to the lobby with no separating door or wall. The food on offer (which is self service) was mediocre at best, not what I expected, had it been explained that breakfast was a buffet style I wouldn’t have paid the extra £15 when I checked in. Overall behind the bright entrance and lobby I felt that the whole building was showing signs of wear and tear and could do with a good refresh.

Lovely Hotel, very pleasantly surprise. Standard double room with King Size Bed, very clean & comfortable with everything you needed for an overnight stay. Lovely meal in the hotel restaurant and drinks afterwards in the bar. All staff from checkin to checkout were very friendly and helpful. The Gym, pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and changing facilities were all of a great standard. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Noisy guests,no disabled parking and room key issu

No disabled parking as 6 spaces available were full so had to park on the rock covered gravel on the overspill car park which also had steps- not good as really uneven. Staff were really trying to be helpful but room card didn’t work so had to go all the way back to reception to fix it. Ordered food to the room and the tray wasn’t cleared from outside causing drunk guests from other rooms to mess about with the tray banging it and throwing the condiment tray all over the hallway(around 10-15 sachets) Very noisy drunken guests feom the bar.As I was in the room alone until my carer returned from the gig which I was looking forward too it was not an enjoyable stay.I had looked forward to a peaceful stay whilst keeping my independence for a couple of hours but this was not the case.

Ideal for a trip to the NEC

Had a lovely night at The Arden, staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean as was most of the hotel. We used the leisure club and the jacuzzi water was quite off colour which was a little off putting as we didnt notice until after the bubbles stopped. Was ideally situated for the NEC and although right by the airport the noise from planes was minimal. Breakfast was very nice and a great selection to choose from. Overall a great stay and I'm sure we will be back in future.

Great for gigs

Stayed overnight for a concert at the BPpulse live arena, easy walk across to the venue, free car park at hotel. Stay all friendly and helpful, nice bar and the food was great too.

Very convenient location to the NEC. Hotel and rooms had all you needed for a overnight stay, comfy bed, decent size room/bathroom/clean. Was able to park earlier than check in time for a small charge, rest of the stay had free parking. Staff were brilliant couldn't do enough. Thank you would definitely stay/recommend

It was a perfect stay for the venue we needed. Easy to get too. Lovely room, plenty of coffee and Tea. Only moan would be the shower screen not doing what it should do. Amazing power shower but water all over the floor. Apart from that all was perfect
