We stayed for one night and overall were very satisfied the place, here are the pros and cons.
Pros: The place gives a very warm, cosy and homely feeling. State of the art heating tech, so heating could be controlled easily. Kitchen had bread butter jam, cereals, coffee machine, kettle microwave, etc for breakfast. Towels were provided for. The jacuzzi bath tub was absolutely lovely (complementarytoiletrieswere there too!) ... sooo relaxing! Everything for babies and toddlers was provided for (travel cot with a cozy duvet and pillow, highchair and also a bath seat). There were alot of board games to play and toys for toddlers. My little one really enjoyed the stay. TV had free channels BBC iplayer as well as a netflix guest account for guests (that was a very nice gesture!)
Cons: There was alot of paint peeling from one bedroom, kitchen and bathroom wall. Also the bathroom shelf looked like it needed repair as it was covered in plastic and duck tape. But the host did mention these with an apology in the welcome message.
I admit, It put my husband off for a bit but the positives outweighed the negative so we didn't give it another thought.
Overall it was a very comfortable, peaceful and relaxing stay.
Most holiday homes I've been to the hot water always ran out after one person had a bath or the water pressure would be really bad, but this place was absolutely great!! We had no issue with anything.
So I would definitely recommend this place if you are not bothered by the cons.
Thank you Emma, for making this stay comfortable and possible in a short time period.
