Dalnaglar Castle sleeps 18 and provides a unique and exclusive setting for special occasions and family gatherings. Within the estate you'll find an abundance of scenic walks and the invigorating Cateran Trail – part of which passes through the estate – is ideal for really testing out your walking boots. There's salmon fishing on the River Shee and a private lochan ideal for paddle boarding and fishing for trout. Getting out and about you'll find the famous town of Braemar, home of the ‘Braemar Gathering' (reputedly the best Highland Games in the world) only a 30 minute drive away. There's fabulous tourist towns, restaurants, cafes and shops all within driving distance. In the winter months, for those looking to brush up on their ski-skills, Glenshee Snowsports Centre is just ten miles away.

Lovely visit!

We were a group of 15 adults. The castle was very spacious and clean. We had a chef come in for one night which I would recommend. (Graeme Stewart is who we used and he was excellent!). The castle is not musty and feels more like a very large, quirky manor. The grounds are wonderful too!
