To start with, the loft was very difficult to find and the owner responded to my cry for help to locate, but sadly when I needed the owner for a more urgernt matter, there was no reponse. I absolutley DO NOT recommend staying here if you are a single female. On my first night, a man came into my unit while I was asleep who suspiciously resembled the owner who was advertized in the unit as a local real estate agent, and I was frozen in fear as he walked past the bed I was sleeping in and out the door. I texted the owner the next morning, called him and left a VM with my concerns, as well as asked to have him check the camera in the hallway outside the lofts to see if he recogfnized the man, and there was no response from him...ever. The audacity to not address such a serious safety issue, or take ownership if it was an honest mistake by himself or another, is frankly disgusting and disturbing. Needless to say, I did not sleep well the remainder of my stay and thankfully my boyfriend came up the following day to stay with me. It baffles me that a known real estate agent in the area would not take action to attempt to rectify the situation in any way. His actions spoke volumes and while I would stay in Blue Ridge again, I will ensure that I am not renting one of his properties. There was also construction going on in one of his other units across the hall and all you heard was tools and workers all day, therefore disturbing what was meant to be a short and peaceful getaway.
