Getaway wedding weekend

Amazing ranch. Cake into town for a wedding in McKinney and not a bad short drive away. It did rain quite a bit so heed the warning on the dirt road- it was quite muddy. Upon arrival for check in at 4 the crew was still cleaning. We just packed up and ran to the grocery store, but had hoped with the later check in time we could have dropped our bags first. The property manager was very attentive and brought more propane as requested. All in all, beautiful home, exactly what we needed to escape the huddle of wedding weekend. Beautifully decorated (even with Christmas decor!) would absolutely stay here again.

Thanksgiving

Pros: The property was amazing. The house was full stocked. The fireplace near the porch was PERFECT. They even developed more wood for us to enjoy ourselves. There’s plenty of games for every age group. The movie room was a plus since we traveled with an 8 year old. You literally do not need to bring anything but clothes and food. Messaging Marie was a breeze. She responded quickly. Cons: We did have a few issues like the top floor restroom leaking down to the maain floor shower, ice machine not working, a large amount of flys inside the property, and a few stains on the carpet.

Beautiful house - horrid road and near a stinky Dump

House is huge, beautiful, tastefully furnished, and extremely well stocked with everything needed for a great stay. Marie was friendly and very helpful. However, the contact person (not Marie) Lied that the driveway had been fixed and was in good condition. It was full of ruts, ridges, and huge potholes it's full length. The nearby dump reeks so we couldn't enjoy the outside amenities. We stopped counting after killing 56 flies Inside the house. We enjoyed our (inside) stay, but I wouldn't book again due to the road that may have damaged our vehicle and the fetid dump stench. smells from the dump. impassible.

Family vacation

The house was on a private road so we had a lot of privacy. However I didn't like the gravel road and the condition of all the grass on and around the property, there also needs to be some lighting added. People were scared to drive out. The house was clean the linen smelled fresh and washed. But we didn't have enough towels for everyone. I contacted the number on the counter and never heard back. Other than that there were no issues or complaints with anything. The owner was nice and accommodated use with our requests before arrival. Overall really pleasant experience. All the children and adults had a good time🎉â˜ș

AMAZING PROPERTY!!

This property was one of the best we ever picked! The bedrooms were spacious, the house was super clean, and all the amenities made our stay much more comfortable. The kids loved the game room, and the adults loved the large patio and grill! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property!

wonderful property--drive up in a truck

This house was ideal for a large family/group. You could stay here for a week and have enough to entertain the kids without ever leaving. It is seriously out in the middle of nowhere but I couldve made a restful, quiet, quality time family vacation easily. It has a well stocked kitchen. BB/vollyball court, fishing pond, pool tables, media room. The house was extremely clean and upscale. It could use a mowing/shredding. Do not try to get to this property in a low sitting car. A truck or at least a SUV will be best. The barely paved road leading to the property has so many deep pot holes that in some areas you cant even avoid them all. God help you if you go in after a rain and in the dark like we did. But in spite of the mowing and very rough terrain...I would re-book this property any time I have the opportunity. The area is so beautiful, and the drive to the property had views that are not common for North East Texas. ♄♄♄♄♄

Wedding Weekend with Family & Friends

House was very clean. Lots of room and our family got to spend it together for a wedding. Downstairs A/C was not working properly
 they immediately brought us fans and called for repairman. It was fixed in hours. We appreciated everything they did to make our Wedding weekend perfect!! I would recommend.

Great place. Saw a few deer. 2 ponds . Had a bunch of stuff to entertain family. Loved the volleyball net. Great place and everyone wants to go back next year. Might get it again way before when friends come visit from out of town

Anniversary trip with friends

This was a 25th anniversary celebration with our friends. All 5 of our families were able to stay comfortably in this house. Loved that every bathroom had a full shower. The kids had a ton of fun with the playground area and volleyball courts. They spent most of their time outside or in the game room. The guys enjoyed billiards and table tennis in the garage. The kitchen was stocked fully. The backyard porch was a very good place for adults to gather and relax. It was a very memorable vacation for all of our families. We would return for sure! The manager was very responsive.

Family Wedding Weekend

Nice property, VERY secluded, ample rooms, excellent furnishings, convenient location for wedding we attended, easy check-in process. A few minor annoyances. Property getting “tired” in some areas. Ran out of shower soap and toilet paper (quickly replenished by Owner), batteries dead in TV remote etc. Never figured out where Dish receiver was and Owner didn’t respond to question. In an ideal world, there’d also be a paved driveway or something done about potholes but recognize that’s a major expense. Aside from those minor annoyances, it was an excellent stay for all.

Great house

It was tricky to find the road leading to the house. The signs are not large enough! Once we got to the house we found the house to be fantastic! Very clean! Most everything was available to prepare our meals! The overall design of the home was very comfortable! A great getaway from the busy city!

Amazing house

This house is gorgeous. I recommend it to anyone. Marie, the grounds keeper, was precious. She was so helpful. The only complaint was that the roads getting to the house were not well maintained.

Escape to the country!

Wonderful house and setting. The home was well equipped for gatherings and cooking for the family. Beds were very comfortable and a nice big space inside and on the beautiful back porch to enjoy family time.

Great Location for Our Family Reunion

Highly recommend this peaceful home on 33 acres. Perfect place for our post COVID family reunion. Host was very accommodating and we took full advantage of the amenities that kept our family busy enjoying each other company. Although remote it’s still close enough to McKinney for any last minute supplies and restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful time

Beautiful home away from home.

Best place to stay. Clean and beautiful just as advertised. Definitely somewhere you want to stay, and hate when you have to leave. This place has everything you need . Check in and check out was a breeze and the host was the best. We will be back soon
