The staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable. The price was good. The room was full of large furniture that needs an update. The desk chair was wobbly. This was supposed to be an accessible room but the only thing that was accessible was a bar in the shower and it was on the wrong side of the shower, no bar by the toilet. The towels were rough and there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. There was a microwave in the little store kiosk near the front desk. If you want to heat food up and take it to your room you have to figure a way to do that. There was no buffet breakfast, only items that you could buy a la carte. The whole hotel needs an update.

Hotel: Nice. Value: good. Room: comfortable. Staff: VERY Nice & attentive. That said, the property could use some improvement. Only one ice machine in the building; while there is Starbucks to purchase until 10-11 a.m., courtesy coffee in the lobby was generally gone by 8-9 in the morning. There was also a coffee pot on the room, but our water pressure was pretty low, and the water was not great tasting. There was no problem getting extra coffee packs from the desk or housekeeping. Pool and hot tub nice, but no towels there after 9:30, so grab one from your room or the front desk. The pool area was clean and kept up. In general a good stay if you're out and about.

Almost like a home
It's my first time staying at Sonesta, and it won't be the last. It's clean and comfortable. The bed is high, and the mattress is firm, as I like. The only negative aspect is that I have an allergy to carpets. The carpet is clean and in good condition, but the chemicals used sometimes worsen symptoms. But overall I do recommend this Sonesta.

I really liked how clean the room was and how comfortable the bed was. There were places to eat and shop including a good mall in walking distance and there was public transportation close-by too !

A Once Nice Stay But Now Losing its Luster
I've stayed here multiple times over the years and while its still a decent place, I can see it has gone down a bit. The beds and pillows are too soft. If you like firm, you wont like the beds. Also, the last couple of times we stayed there i noticed unusual marks and stains in the room that house keeping should have spotted and corrected. Also, they need to wipe down the headboards! Really gross when the light hits them just right and you see all of the head marks on it from various greasy heads and hair products. I also noticed an unusual amount of trash left outside of peoples rooms that sat there for too long. Its no fun walking down a trash ridden hallway wondering why it would sit there all day and night. I might give it another shot, but we'll see on the next visit.
