Pros: safe neighborhood, close proximity to public transportation and neighborhood amenities like grocery store and restaurants, ample space for four adults. (Three bedrooms with a queen bed in each room).
Cons: These folks should not be renting out their unit. AT ALL. There is a young family upstairs. The house is old, thin walls and old creaky wood floors. They have SEVERAL young children upstairs who have no rules considering the VRBO renters below. Their children run around, scream, yell and carry on. They moved furniture around and let them tumble and roughhouse. We were there for the Boston Marathon. My husband and two daughters, age 26 and 24. None of us slept well due to the noises above. We actually had to leave the place when their children were running around screaming upstairs....it was annoying and disruptive. If you don't plan on getting rest, and expect to be gone, away from the unit the entire time you are there, you might find it works for you....but otherwise, skip this one.
Also note, no A/C. They do have a portable stand-up unit that helped in the main living area, but rooms were very hot the first night. As the temps dropped during the week, it got cold in the house because the windows are old, and the one in the kitchen actually has such a big crack you could feel the cold air coming in. The radiant heat unit did work very well to warm the unit up, but it bangs in the bedrooms (like someone hitting a metal utensil against it.) so turned it off at night
