This condo met our needs as a low-cost rental for a few days in Boulder, but I felt the previous reviews led us to expect something a bit nicer. As other reviewers said, this building is disappointing from the outside, and the inner hall and stairs are also stained and old. However the building was very quiet and felt safe, we rarely heard or saw other tenants. The inside of the unit was decently remodeled but there are still some signs of wear and age and the furnishings could be better. The master bedroom smelled a lot like cigarette smoke when we arrived, which we thought meant others had smoked there and tried to cover up, but the next day it smelled very strongly of fried food and we realized the vent system was allowing in odors from neighboring units - nothing the management can do about that, but if you're sensitive to smells it can be pretty intense. Also the fireplace didn't work. Management brought us new batteries for the remote but it didn't still didn't work and by then we were leaving. Small additions would help, such as a table and lamp next to each side of the beds. The living room sofa is so unstable that the whole thing shifts precariously on its legs if you change positions while sitting on it. The kitchen was nice and there was plenty of space for our family of four, and given the prices of rentals in Boulder, I think overall it was worth the cost.
