It was a friendly old Florida rental area in Bradenton Beach, less than a mile from Bridge Street town center. We also drove over to Holmes Beach and Anna Maria, as well as convenient shopping trips into Bradenton. The Shuttle stop is nearby for busier times. We loved the Anna Maria Beach Cafe and found ourselves there several times.
The unit was as advertised with comfortable beds, excellent shower, small kitchen and some cooking items (limited) and the obligatory saggy vacation rental couch.
Lots of people walking, riding bikes and out visiting with their new neighbors gave it the feel of down home. .
The only concern was there was NO smoke alarm in the unit. No one came to fix it despite an e-mail and telephone conversation.
