It was a very relaxing weekend and the place is beautiful and very well decorated. We utilized the beautiful deck often and the hot tub was just what we needed. That being said, there were a couple things that should be looked at/noted. First of all, this is not a secluded site. It is in a neighborhood and you do have neighbors. The pictures make it look more secluded. There is no close access to the water. There are no curtains/blinds on the large deck windows and three out of the five front windows either didn’t have any blinds or they did not work. The lower level bedroom and bathroom curtains are sheer and totally see-through. If it was more secluded, this would not be a problem. I’m sure when the trees are all full of leaves, it is a little more secluded, but when we went, the trees were still bare. Some of the kitchen utensils and pans need replacement or updating and there were no dish cloths or scrub brush available. We did have an Internet issue and it took several hours to hear back from the host. We’re not sure if all the jets in the hot tub were working as they were supposed to, but we still enjoyed it very much. There is no sink next to the grill as it shows in the picture. We did go into Brainerd to Northland Arboretum and went on a 3 1/2 mile hike and stopped at the Paradise restaurant on the way back, which was very enjoyable, and then enjoyed the hot tub and the stars afterwards. Overall, it was a very nice and relaxing weekend in a beautiful place.
