The property was fine. The communication with the management company was good, in that someone answered the phone, Amazing! However, when I couldn't submit the contract on line, the representative I contacted said she did it for me. The next day I received a text saying I hadn't submitted the contract and would lose the reservation if I didn't submit it. I called property management again, and the person there submitted it. Each time I spoke to a management rep., I was told I could submit an earlier arrival time, but they couldn't guarantee check-in until 4 pm. We arrived in Breckenridge at 1:30 and shopped around. A few minutes after 4 pm, I called the management company to tell them I hadn't received a text saying we could pick up the keys for the condo, per the rental agreement. They then informed me that check-in was not guaranteed until 6 pm. Who has check-in at 6 pm? Apparently, it was in the small print. It never occurred to me that check-in would be later than 4, partially because each time we spoke, the reps told me it was 4, but also because I have NEVER checked in later than 4 anywhere in the world! And btw, the master bath had one shower door with a sign saying not to use it and the other door, which was too close to the toilet to open, said to "be gentle." I am not sure why it took 6 hours to clean, as renters are instructed to clean up the kitchen and take out the trash.
