Started poor and corrected, yay!

My brother and nephew arrived for a family gathering nearby - our father was preparing to pass away. The first night seemed ok, loud party going on nearby, finishing up in the early morning hours. The next night was worse and was difficult to sleep. A phone call to the front desk, and a few hours later, their room was being changed. That was a big help for a stressful visit.

The pool and Jacuzzi was out of order and no effort was made to fix it. This was our holiday and we planned to come to this location because of the hot tub and pool.

The hotel put us on side of hotel where there is a club of some sort live karaoke very very loud till 2 am I asked for a later check out and could only give till 12 I honestly had a 10 hour drive I called Wyndham because front desk kept saying it was Wyndham new policy NOT true so I called front desk back and he still said it’s Wyndham policy I was about to say to just charge me another day because I was thinking 1 would work then he said it’s 20.00 dollars per hour ??? And grant you seemed strange because I believe prostitution was going on the evening before ? Very shady

Felt itchy after the first night. Saw that the beds were filthy, dirty, stained. Told front desk and the reception said, Are you okay? Do you need to go to the urgent care? Are you safe? She then proceeds to say, I want you to know that I’ve been working here since 2017. We are in the process of getting new beds. Please take my word, we clean the beds all the time, they are just stained. There’s not much we can do unless you see a bug or have bites. 😳 In the meantime what you can do is write an incident form and we can then go investigate.

I picked this hotel because it provided a free breakfast, had a hot tub and had a laundry facility. When we arrived we found this hotel was quite old and near a busy road. The sound of the cars outside was very loud all night and the seal on the door was poor. The rooms were not in great shape with quite a bit of water damage and poor paint jobs throughout. The breakfast was very meager (some cereal, a few muffins, orange slices, some pieces of bread and some yogurt). The hot tub was closed off and the laundry facilty had extremily short and inconvenient hours. The TVs were so old and did not even have HDMI ports. There were no safes offered in the hotel rooms but they made sure it was clear that anything that turned up missing in your room was your problem, giving the feeling of insecurity leaving my stuff there. Its a fairly cheap hotel but i've stayed in nicer ones for the same price. If you are trying to save a buck and the things I mentioned dont bother you then it is otherwise an okay hotel. The Target nearby was actually very convenient. I won't be staying here again.

Everything was so old and barely working and dirty towels. When you call the front desk to get room service they don’t send anyone and you still get dirty yellow towels and bed sheets horrible with smell.

The room we used is good. Clean, spacious, AC and water heater efficient. The bathroom fixtures are a little bit old/ worn especially the tile floor. But overall the place is pretty nice.

For the price, it’s well worth it. It’s an older hotel that’s been renovated. Its clean beds are comfortable. The pillows are fabulous. Full TV access to local stations.
