Celebrated our 19 year anniversary
This cabin had the best veiws of the devil's backbone. We loved just relaxing on the deck and listening to the cutest little radio/record player they had inside. Spent the evening grilling up some fajitas on the gas grill taking in the veiws. Everything you need was easily located in the kitchen and had a selection of seasoning. We spent some time in the hot tub the only thing is the jets that makes the bubbles wasnt working. That's was kinda a bummer but not a deal breaker for us. We still had a wonderful time.. the upstairs bedroom was very cozy and had a super soft bed. We also loved that one of our favorites bars "The Backbone Tavern" was 5 minutes from this property. Such a little hidden gem this cabin was we would visit again!

Beautiful views, disappointing outcome
When we pulled up the the cabin the sun was setting right over it and I could see the rollings hills, it was beautiful. The hot tub was a great amenity however because it was so cold we lost water overnight despite keeping the faucets dripping. I called the property management company the next morning to let them know, they informed me this cabin has a well that probably froze over. We left the faucets dripping all day while like they said but still came back home to no water. We ended up leaving late that night and didn't complete our stay because of this. Beware to rent in winter.

Clean, adorable secluded cabin with phenomenal views! Super peaceful and private.Hot tub was a disappointment and not hot at all.it was one of the main reasons for going but was very old and not hot.The cabin was cozy, nice beds and linens and the views were epic!

Great Rustic Cabin

Peaceful getaway
Cozy, authentic log cabin, with first and second floor balconies overlooking an amazing hill country vista. Comfortable bed in the downstairs bedroom, with door to back porch. Would return just for the view and to watch the sunset and stars come out.

Some updates are needed
The view was amazing! It was cozy and relaxing. The hot tub is very old and no longer had markings for any of the dials and buttons. We tried to use it but we only figured out how to turn the jets on, it never got hot so we werent able to enjoy it. Also, the stove was outdated and the markings for the oven were no longer there so we had to guess for anything we cooked. Other than those things we enjoyed our stay.

My wife and absolutely loved our stay. It was wonderful to get away from the busyness of life and slow down for a couple days. We loved the location, secluded yet close to things to do. We would stay there again!

Get away not so good
As arrived on Friday hot tub was broke, after two voicemails and multiple emails no one ever called back. Will never deal with this property management company again. They are terrible and will never recommend anyone to stay in any of these properties managed by them. We have to pay a cleaning fee when it was dirty when we arrived. Not happy and never wanted to make it right either just an apologies that's it....

Perfect Peaceful Get-Away

Beautiful place
Overall: property was great! My sister and I had a great time and loved the location. Quiet area with great view. Did not like the late check in and early check out times. Kitchen is a bit outdated but other than those things we had a great experience Pros: Loved the property and the location- it seems like you’re out in the middle of nowhere but still close to civilization. The view is definitely downplayed in the description and photos- it’s absolutely amazing. The hosts are great communicators during our stay and helpful with the property. Cons: very late check-in and very early check-out times with little flexibility. I contacted the host a month before our dates to request an earlier check-in time but was told they could not accommodate so early in advance, that we would need to contact them in the afternoon day of arrival to see if cleaning was complete to arrive early. When I checked in with the host in the afternoon day of arrival we were told at 2:30pm the cabin was ready (1.5 hrs early) however since the cabin is far out it gave us little wiggle room to make it out early. Also tried to arrange late check out however we were told that we needed to leave at 10 am (reg checkout time) so that they could get ready for the next guest (assuming to arrive at regular arrival time of 4pm). Kitchen is outdated- particularly the stove. One burner doesn’t work and the writing on knobs that control the temperature of the oven are worn off but we made it work
