The Angel is my favourite hotel in Cardiff and I’ve been staying there for over 50 yrs. It’s full of memories for me and still as beautiful. The staff are friendly and kind and I had a lovely appointed room. It’s Victorian charm is wonderful and full of character ❤️

Nice room but cold not well heated
Our room was a very good size however there was only one radiator in the room that didn't heat the size of the room very well definitely had a chill to the room the warmest part was the bathroom which had its own towel heater It was very quiet bed was comforty too

It was a beautiful stay here. The only downfall was, there was a party directly downstairs from our room. I completely understand this will happen especially towards Christmas, it just would have been nice to be warned or potentially move rooms. We didn’t get any sleep that night, the music was blasting. Other than that, it’s a beautiful place
