Staff were all nice. Really liked having small bar at the hotel. Only reason to not give all 5 stars is that walls are so thin that conversations are easily heard (on floor above and beside our rooms and walking in the hallway).

Everything was fine. The rooms were up to date, very clean, and were designed almost perfectly. 12.00 for parking overnight parking tax is very petty.

This is one of my favorite hotels in the area. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are great, parking is easy and free, and it’s always been clean and well-maintained. If not for one major issue, this would be my go-to hotel every time. The problem is the exorbitant $250 incidental hold they place on your card at check-in—even if you’re only staying one night. I’ve stayed at hotels across the country, including luxury hotels in major cities, and I’ve never seen a hold this high, especially for a mid-range property. To make matters worse, the hold stays on your card for a full week, which is a major inconvenience, especially if you’re in town for a vacation, wedding, or event where every dollar counts. There is no justifiable reason to hold $250 per night for that long. Most hotels in the area have a much more reasonable policy, and this excessive charge is the only thing keeping me from staying here more often. I still book here from time to time because I love everything else about the hotel, but if they ever lowered the incidental fee to a more standard amount, this would be my first choice every time.

Hotel is in a really good area to travel around. It’s right near the Long Island Expressway and Northern State Pkway and Meadowbrook Parkway and the Long Island Railroad. Safe area. Good breakfasts, gym is not bad and Planet Fitness is REAL close. Shopping is great at Roosevelt Field and more. Diners are open if you want to eat late on Old Country Road

I was surprised to find out when I checked in that there was a $12.50 parking fee. We have been coming here since Corona as a convenient quick getaway when needed. The hotel is in Garden City, a suburban area with no street parking. The parking lot is huge & never full. Just comes across as a money grabbing fee.
