Fantastische Wohngegend, die ziemlich ruhig bleibt, aber trotzdem den Ereignissen und dem Leben in der King Street sehr nahe ist!

Fahrräder sind jedoch die beste Möglichkeit, Charleston zu genießen und die wunderschönen historischen Straßen in Ihrem eigenen Tempo zu erkunden! Explore Charleston and its Southern Charm

The house was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. Historic Charleston has limited parking but we had a dedicated off site parking spot right around the corner. D’Allesandro’s Pizza was literally 3 doors down and the smell of the pizza cooking had us craving pizza. BTW, we had it twice and it was amazing. If you rent a car, rent a small compact car to get around Charleston. If going down near Calhoun street or further south, we parked in the Cumberland St Parking garage and it was reasonable. If you go anywhere north of Calhoun street, you can easily walk there in 15-20 minutes. The restaurants are either high end or bar food atmosphere. We like The Rarebit and The Griffon restaurant. If you like the old homes, then Charleston Historic District is your place. We parked along Murray blvd and enjoyed walking the neighborhood along with many other people just taking in the sights of the big beautiful homes. If you choose to go to the beach, we chose the beach at Isle of Palms. You park free along the road in designated areas and there are plenty. Then we walked through beach access points. Very nice beach area and it was not crowded. Back to our stay at our Vrbo. It was perfect for us. There is construction across the street but they are there during the day and we weren’t. We took off to enjoy the history Charleston has to offer. The tub is a claw foot tub and is a high step to get in but hey, it’s a claw foot. The rooftop is great for chilling out. Great place !!!!!

Would Stay Again!

This was a perfect option for our first visit to Charleston. There were only 2 of us so we did not need a lot of space and we knew we'd be eating most, if not all, meals out. It was nice having a kitchen option although there is only a small stove, basic microwave, and mini fridge (space has been designed perfectly to maximize features) so cooking/dining in with regularity would have been challenging.The neighborhood is in an up and coming area and was definitely walkable to most, if not all, locations we wanted to visit (if going all the way down King/south of Broad, it's about 30 minutes of walking). We chose to Uber for trips further south which was about a 10 minute ride.The bed is very comfortable! Host was very easy to communicate with, quickly responsive to any questions we had. As previously mentioned, there is no option to hang clothing so we did have to utilize the iron. Also, as included in the listing, there is construction across the street which begins fairly early each morning. We had no issues as we were ready to be up and about most days but if you are one to sleep later, you may want some white noise!We are already planning a return visit and would happily book this location again.

Cute house. Petite but functional. Love the neighborhood location as it’s close to tons of restaurants and shopping. The clawfoot tub shower was a bit scary to me. I have short legs, so getting in and out was not easy with no place to hold.

Good time in Charleston

We had a great time. Parked the car and walked everywhere we wanted to go. Construction across the road but it was quiet at night. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. I wasn’t crazy about the shower set up. You had to close a wooden blind in order to have privacy and we struggled with that. One of those kits that make the windows opaque would fix that

Great spot, A location!

Really enjoyed our stay. It’s such a perfect location, walkable to all of downtown, but at the same time quiet enough in a residential area. The house was well kept, bed was comfy, and loved the rooftop! Highly recommend this place.

The perfect spot!

This place is so cute and was perfect for our 3 night stay. The bed is so comfortable we slept in every day. The kitchen is stocked nicely. The neighborhood is awesome! Lots of little restaurants, bars tucked in here and there. The pizza place a few doors down on the corner, is excellent! There is a little shared courtyard making it easy to bring our dog out. Lastly, it was very clean. We highly recommend!

Great Location

This place is in the the perfect location and also has its’ own parking spot which is really nice if you have been to downtown Charleston. The rooftop is very nice and there are plenty of places to get food and small items.

We were there for parents weekend for College of Charleston and it was a great place for us. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and the college campus was about a 15-20 min walk. We loved the rooftop patio.

Decent property

2 senior adults stayed here for 3 nights in October 2024. We are seasoned travelers and enjoy upscale accommodations. This property is decent, but certainly not upscale. One of the features that attracted me was the rooftop patio. It is not at all charming, with cheap furniture and views of other roofs. The rest of the property is in good condition and the bed is comfortable. The TV was hard to figure out. The bathroom and shower/tub were adequate. There are no clothes closets. The neighborhood is decent, middle class. There are a couple of restaurants very nearby and the property is a short walk to King Street where there are many more restaurants. There is a designated parking space around the corner.

Great time

This was our first trip to Charleston. This was the perfect location to everything we want to do. The amenities were upscale and luxurious. Also, very clean. The only downside was that the guest in unit A had the police called to the house at 2:00 am for excessive loudness. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful.

Thoughtfully decorated to maximize the charm and space. Clean and comfortable. Super short walk to enjoy King Street- just around the corner- and a ten minute drive to Mount Pleasant and Shem Creek. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Charleston getaway.

This house is perfect for 2 people! Bed ia comfy, towels are nice! Rooftop deck waa great to wnd the evening with a cocktail and cool off once the heat of the day was gone. Perfect Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And loved the accommodations. Everything was as described. Rustic, charming, secluded but close enough for a short drive to the main areas. We thought it was just Too hot in July to walk the twenty minutes to downtown King St., but had no issues and with some patience can find free parking near the water areas. We also lucked out and got free parking for one of the days bc the meters were malfunctioning. Enjoyed our short stay.
