I wish I could give this place zero stars. Our experience was an absolute nightmare, all thanks to the atrocious management and lack of communication from the owner. It started decently enough with many messages confirming our stay and providing access codes. But once we arrived at 11 pm, everything went downhill fast.
First, the owner lied about our VRBO reservation needing confirmation,. We received confirmation emails from VRBO and a number of text messages from the host, including our unit number, building code, and unit lock code. I confirmed it directly with VRBO while going through this nightmare. This forced us to scramble and move to a different apartment at the last minute, which was infuriating. When we got to the new place, it was a total disaster—dirty, broken blinds and a long list of unacceptable issues.
To make things worse, there was no Wi-Fi or TV. Seriously? When I thought it couldn't get any worse, the owner texted us, demanding we leave two days early because someone else was booked. No notice, no accommodations, and zero help finding somewhere else to stay. She had the nerve to tell me to "get out now" because the cleaning crew was coming. We were miles away on a college tour which was the purpose of the trip and my husband had to miss. When I pointed out that all our stuff was still there, her response "I don't care.” And hung up on me. Hands down the worst rental experience ever. Unprofessional, unreliable and horrible human beings. Stay far away.
