The Pear Tree Cottage was a very special place to stay in Bourton-On-The-Water. The cottage is one block away from the water and all of the village bridges, shops and restaurants. Our family enjoyed a two week stay and felt like locals. We felt so fortunate to have the Pear Tree as our home base. Highly recommended
Charming cottage, easy walk to everything in town.
We loved staying at Pear Tree Cottage. It is a warm, cozy home with a great garden in the back where we enjoyed our coffee every morning. Easy walk (<5 min) into town to enjoy everything that is there.
Pear Tree Cottage is absolutely adorable and the garden is beautiful. The entire house is equipped with everything you need for a self catering vacation. Itâs in a great location on a quiet street a short walk from the village square. The property manager, Joanne, was responsive to every request and a delight to work with. The only thing I would suggest is some attention to the toilets. We had a lot of difficulty getting them to flush thoroughly. Perhaps an increase in the water pressure or larger tanks would help. Regardless, this issue would not deter me from staying at Pear Tree Cottage again.
My wife and I have been staying in the UK for many months and invited my sister and her husband to stay with us for two weeks. Our time in Bourton-on-the-Water at Pear Tree Cottage was magical. We particularly enjoyed our time at the end of each day in the warm and cozy lounge. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds very comfortable, and the showers were excellent. Many happy memories and we would certainly stay again.
Such a beautiful cottage, so much character and really cosy. Well equipped kitchen and really comfy beds. Great location, 2 minute walk to shops/restaurants/cafe but still very quiet. Would definitely recommend
