The spacious deck looks out toward Menemsha Pond and the Atlantic. We ate every meal the weather allowed at the table there, and the sunsets were spectacular. Despite the crummy weather for the first part of our week’s stay, we enjoyed the walk to Dutcher Dock and the subsequent delicious fresh fish we had for dinner. Walks on Lucy Vincent beach, fishing off the Menemsha jetty, and a very good meal in Edgartown kept us as busy as we wanted to be.
The beds are comfy, the host is easy to reach, and if you don’t need a huge indoor space, you’ll find this house accommodating. The bathrooms are small, but there are two of them! Our dog was happy to be with us and liked rambling around the big yard. Looking out at the trees and water, it was easy to think there were no other houses anywhere nearby.
