Our first trip to St. Croix was wonderful! We traveled with 3 kids (8,10, and 12). We loved the property and the location. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do, but you do have to rent a car.
We rated our stay four out of five for a couple of reasons. First, it is important to know that we are not VRBO people and we typically stay in hotels. That being said we have stayed in houses before and this home was lacking in a few things.
The home sleeps 6, but it might be more comfortable for 4.
We ran into an issue with bedding for the pullout couch. We worked with the owner and it was eventually resolved, but not until the next day.
There was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for five people for a week. After the trouble of getting the bedding we decided to buy our own.
The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, but missing condiments, salt, and pepper, coffee, coffee filters, etc.
We loved that the house has snorkel gear, but we were short one towel for the beach always because it was stocked for four people and not five.
We stayed during a week of heat advisories and we tried to be very conservative about running the air conditioner, however, we were charged over $20 a day for ac usage. We understood that we would be charged for using the AC going into the rental, but wanted to give people a heads up on what that fee might be if they stay during the heat.
Knowing all these things, we would still stay here again!
