Great owner who communicated well. The Caretaker Austin met us at the airport, led us to the grocery, and then to the house. He explained everything we needed to know about the house and answered all our questions. His wife provided our first meal and we used her services for another dinner. We had one issue that was no one's fault. We came back to the house one evening and there was no running water, Austin came right over and despite being there for over an hour could not get the water back on. He returned the next morning with a plumber and the issue was rectified. Overall very pleased with the house and would return

A Special Birthday Celebration
Villa Santa Cruz was absolutely wonderful. The online listing does not do it justice - the house is much more majestic; the ceilings are soaring, the kitchen is quite large, and the house setting itself is perfect. There were activities for all of us, and the house was well equipped for snorkeling, swimming, drinking rum, grilling, playing billiards, and impossibly fun jigsaw puzzles. Everyone wants to return next year! A memorable vacation for all of us!

Amazing way to ring in the new year
We had a fabulous time in St. Croix. We are avid scuba divers and wanted to start the year under the sea! We needed a larger home for all of us an wanted to stay near the dive center in cane bay. This house was perfect. Not only was is clean and comfortable, it was a perfect location for us. The property managers were amazing, helpful and so inviting. They had dinner made for us upon arrival and it was delicious. Austin was very helpful with our questions upon arrival and Stephanie was very quick to answer us right away. We loved the house it was just as pictured. The home sits on a very small beach which is very accessible and was a fun way to explore. The shell and sea glass seeking was a great added bonus. The views are magnificent and I can't recommend this property enough. We use VRBO all the time and this home was spectacular. We will be back! Thank you Stephanie for hosting us in your gorgeous home!

Terrific experience
This was our second visit to the villa. Often, when you seek to follow up a great experience, the second time disappoints. This was most certainly not the case! The house is exactly as advertised--gorgeous with spectacular views, clean, spacious and well-equipped with a great pool. It's also well constructed--we were visited by tropical storm Ernesto but "weathered" well. The house has an excellent generator that services the whole property. Austin, the property manager, was immediately response to any concerns and took good care of us. A particular highlight, and one of the reasons for our return, was the meals provided by Chef Juliana. We selected four ala carte dinners from her extensive menu which Austin derived in the evening. Unforgettable. You can go home again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Villa Santa Cruz! The oceanfront view was spectacular, the house was spacious and we enjoyed the large pool every day. It was extra special to have food provided the night we arrived by chef Juliana and she catered a special birthday dinner later in the week. From check in to check out the staff/owners were available to assist quickly. The property was gorgeous, the water socks advice was priceless. The pool was incredible, in fact, a majority of our days were spent in/ by the pool looking over crystal clear Caribbean blue water… so relaxing. Chef Jay was wonderful and so accommodating to different family members allergies. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and the convenience of having a meal set up for us 3 of our nights… thank you again to Chef Jay!

We really enjoyed the spacious house with lots of amenities. Perfect for our couples trip. Everyone had their own space for sleeping and there are great common areas for hanging out together. Stephanie was absolutely amazing with the booking of the villa. All of my questions, concerns and issues were handled immediately and she was very kind, personable and accommodating. Austin was a great help when needed, very prompt and courteous (Selwyn too). We chose to drive to the villa on our own and it was easy to find. The first night a wonderful dinner was brought to us from Chef Julianna along with rum punch. The location was perfect, making a trip to any part of the island within a 15-30 minute drive. The view…..stunning!!! Our group of 3 couples had an amazing stay. The beds were comfortable, the villa was clean and spacious. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with anything you may need for making dinner and drinks. The balcony and downstairs veranda were our favorite places to be with plenty of seating to take in the gorgeous view and listen to the sound of the ocean. Also a perfect spot to catch the sunrises and sunsets. The pool is absolutely incredible and the landscaping is beautiful. Loved the small beach area in front of the villa. The shoreline has sandy areas with some rocks that made it an interesting adventure with so much to see. The water is shallow out front and can be navigated with water shoes. We saw live conch, tropical fish, crabs even a ray. There is a sandy beach just a short walk down the road and kayaking at Salt River is just a short drive. We would not hesitate to stay at Villa Santa Cruz again.

We were a group of 10...2 stayed in the rental next door...we all fit for deck time, meals and general hanging out. Internet worked for many users at all different times. The bedrooms worked out great: 2 couples were young and 2 couples were looking at retirement and we all had enough privacy so everyone was comfortable. Our water time was spent mostly at Caine Bay (10/15 minutes down the road) where it was easy in and out while offering good snorkeling for learners. The house welcome all in our group: diver, lounger, reader, swimmer, sports watcher, news junkie, sun chaser...a thumbs up form all of us.

Perfect In Every Way!
We rented this house to spend the holidays with our children and grandchildren, and the 9 of us could not have had a better experience. It was wonderful!!! Communication with Stephanie and Austin was great, found them both to be very responsive. The house is in a gated community in a central location. We felt safe and it was easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go. The house was very spacious, allowing the 9 of us private spaces, as well as the space to be together as a family. The full dinner waiting for us upon our arrival was the perfect touch. Tired from our travels we feasted on a delicious chicken dinner, complete with rum punches for the adults and fruit punch for the kids. They also had beer, wine and water chilling in the fridge. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the grill, while finicky in a stiff breeze, was fine. We enjoyed the upper porch with its comfortable furniture, cooling breezes, endless ocean views, and the incredible night sky. Even though we went to a different beach every day, we still used the pool quite a bit. Even borrowed some fishing poles from a local friend and fished standing in the water right in front of the house. When Austin offered us a late check out, we went for it. Meant we didn't have to be out first thing in the morning which was very helpful and appreciated, especially since everyone had afternoon flights. We made many wonderful memories during our visit to Villa Santa Cruz and everyone would welcome a return visit.

Week long bliss with endless ocean views.
We traveled with a total of four couples and found the house to be extremely accommodating. Plenty of space to spread out for privacy and spending time together. We enjoyed the upper porch with comfortable chairs for each of us to relax and take in the endless views. The house is located in a central place on the island which allowed easy travel to daytime excursions. We were able to snorkel in front of the house and as long as you have water shoes the beach was fun to explore. We saw stingrays and turtles from the pool deck which was a bonus. Austin, the house manager, was a delight to work with and Chef J provided a welcome meal and yummy rum punch. We hired her for two additional meals, they were affordable and delicious. An abundance of food was enjoyed for days, the deserts were enough to have at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I can’t say enough good things about communication with Austin and Chef J. The house is situated so that the pool gets morning sun and half of the pool is sunny until late afternoon. You won’t be able to see any sunrises or sunsets from the poolside but the views and ocean waves make up for it. We found everything to be clean, although the pictures in the listing are a little misleading in terms of “newness”. All of the furnishings are well worn and some could use some updating (lamp shades in master had mold in them). The master AC didn’t cool the room, we chose to sleep with the windows open and the waves lulled us to sleep.

Best VRBO rental experience yet
We rented this place in mid December with two other couples and could not have had a better experience. As a nice touch the property manager met us at the airport so we could follow him to the house. Waiting for us there was an amazing full dinner as well as a great desert, bottle of rum, bottle of wine, fruit juice for rum punch and bottled water. Arriving late in the day to an island unfamiliar to us, we really appreciated this. The house was immaculately clean and very modern. Everything we needed was there. The location is in a gated community and felt very safe. There are neighbors but the backyard/pool area is completely private. The views were unbelievable from any of the ocean facing windows. No place is perfect so there are a few things to note. Cell coverage is spotty at best but the internet was decent. I am not sure if it was due to the wind but we couldn't get the outdoor grill to heat up enough to cook anything even with the cover closed. We also couldn't get the air conditioners to cool the bedrooms much but we didn't ask the manager for help and the ocean breezes at night were better anyway. You really can't swim at the beach due to the rocks and shallow water, but if the waves are calm enough to swim beyond the breakers, the snorkeling is pretty good. Overall, I can't recommend this house enough and hope to be back.
