We really wanted to like this house, but I guess you get what you pay for.
We usually stay in Kingston, a great house with actually a similar layout as this house, they're both double wide trailers. We knew the house was dated looking and we were fine with that. But when it's over 100F in Circleville, it becomes very uncomfortable quickly without sufficient AC. We arrived to the house after 4pm and the AC was barely on cool, again, over 100F outside. The house never cooled off fully the 1st night and was uncomfortable every night of our 4 night stay until about 1am when the AC could finally catch up and cool the house down. We were under the impression the house had central air/heat. This house has a window unit that had to be cranked to 62 on high the entire time just to try and keep the living room cool. We also learned you cannot use the oven at all since it heats up the entire house. The overall cleanliness and ability to keep the property clean was just ok. We found dirty baking sheets in the oven. There is no garbage disposal in kitchen sink. There's only 1 small garbage can outside for trash so when that filled up, we had to leave trash bags out and then raccoons would attack the bags and leave a huge mess everywhere, every morning. We were only supplied with 2 rolls of TP and paper towels for a house that sleeps 8 for 4 nights. The beds were extremely old and uncomfortable and the house just seems like it needs work. The TV is VERY old and had zero internet or cable as advertised, unless you consider 12 local channels "cable." There were like 12 DVD's for your viewing pleasure. Bring a 25ft Cat 6 cable or RJ45 dongle if you want your TV connected to the internet!
There was 1 part that we liked was the cat in the backyard that would come visit us. He came right up when I checked in and hung out the entire time. I gave him water and we fed him during the trip. He answers to "Angus" and should be adopted. Please see he gets a good home.
