The apartment was clean, and check-in relating to getting the codes was easy. There is no flexibility with check-ins which would have been nice since we arrived 15 minutes early and wanted to drop our stuff off and use the restroom before leaving for an important event at the check-in time and wasn’t told to go ahead and go in when she knew we were there. First time with Verbo so I really didn’t want to get charged for an extra day by going in a bit early and maybe I should have flat out asked and it would have been fine.
Parking was a concern since you have to park on the street and as our luck would have it, the Cleveland Marathon was going through and ours and surrounding streets would be closed from 2am to 2 pm. The host kept in touch over the course of the evening and helped us figure out a place to park not too far away and so we could get out in time for a morning graduation ceremony downtown, so that was much appreciated, but also information that should have been known beforehand by the host. It caused us much concern over the evening and only worked out because my elderly father could not make at the last minute and so we didn’t have the anxiety of making sure he could get to the car and also be able to leave so early to avoid problems with the race. We were only in the house overnight, 8:30pm-7 am, so don’t have much information other than clean rooms, towels available and a comfortable bed.
