Very clean new home with the space my family of 6 needed; me, husband, 4 kids 14-21. Kids each had their own bed, which is a big deal. Everyone got to fish off the dock. We saw an otter and pelicans, which was cool, and a cute little frog.
We used the pellet grill for dinners, except for the night we drove 15 miles to Big G's Pub in Beardsley. I brought a lot of food, but we still needed to go to town for some supplies. Small town, high prices.
I liked sitting on the patio, looking at the water. I also enjoyed the main floor space, two bathrooms, nice kitchen, counter space, appliances, and central air. The mattresses aren't great, but not horrible. The pillows were flat as pancakes.
I seem to read too many property descriptions before booking, then forget to read through what I booked carefully. This time I missed the "bring your own towels" detail. However, I did send a message when I booked asking if there would be an issue with fishing or getting in the water with paddle boards, and was not told about the green algae. The water was like thick like pea soup with algae. We did not get in the water or use the paddle boards we brought because of it, which was disappointing.
Regardless, I loved just watching the water, seeing the kids fish. We used the fire pit a couple nights which was good on the sandy area. Bring your own marshmallow fire sticks. I liked playing games at the table with the large windows giving us views of the lake.
Worth the drive and price.
