We, 3 women over 50, stayed for a week in the summer. The home was clean and quite lovely. It’s very close to the water and we could easily walk to go for a swim.
The downsides…the kitchen is not well provisioned. There were no: measuring spoons, baking sheets/pans, or mixing bowls, just cereal bowls. We were using pots to mix things in. There was limited cutlery, so we were constantly washing forks to use. A trip to the dollar store would easily fix the shortfalls on this account.
There were also only 2 chairs to sit on outside, we had to run to Walmart to buy a lawn chair, and there was no outdoor table. To be fair, the pictures did show only 2 outdoor muskoka chairs, but we assumed that if the place accommodates 4 people, there should be at least 4 chairs.
The description mentioned a whirlpool tub, but there isn’t one. Only a large regular bathtub.
And lastly, there’s a picture of a welcome basket, but there wasn’t one.
If you are staying for a night or 2, this is a great spot, but for a week, not so much.
