The hot tub was not warm enough to use, I/we would have contacted host but they never came to look at the fireplace after we informed the it was not working. The add prior to our arrival was misleading now it is worded correctly. There is no hand railing or other support going down the solar lighted stair that do not light up do to snow packed tops .

This place is great! My girlfriend and I had an amazing time in the Springs utilizing this cozy home. Location is close enough to get places easily and separated enough to feel removed from the business of the city. I recommend!

My daughter and I stayed here during a vacation. The neighborhood was beautiful and very quiet. We never heard anything if the residents were upstairs. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We relaxed after busy days in the hot tub and even saw several deer in the backyard. We would definitely stay here again!!

Home in the hills

The title of this listing was completely accurate! It is a serene and calm backyard surrounded by tall trees, greenery and wild life (some deer and wild turkeys). Was nice to enjoy the patio and we weren’t bothered at all by upstairs owners. Sounds were minimal. Beds were comfortable, clean and pillows were soft. We went to the zoo which was a 10 minute drive including the Broadmoor arena for an event. Great location altogether. Worked perfectly for my son and I. Thank you to our hosts!

Beautiful backyard

This has been one of our favorite trips and the backyard was incredible. Most nights we had deer come within about 5-10 feet from us while we sat in the hot tub!

A great base for a trip to Colarado Springs

We enjoyed our three night stay! There are two spacious bedrooms, a good size living room and a wonderful outdoor space. The property is an excellent distance from local amenities and major attractions. We did mention to the owner that the bathroom smelt weird and that there wasn’t a great deal of crockery. But neither of these were deal breakers for us. The lack of kitchen was a little inconvenient but fine for a few days and we were aware of this when we booked. All in all, a great spot for a few days. I would recommend a visit!

Jetless Whirlpool vacation

I rented a place with A hot tub because we really wanted a good working hot tub. When I brought it to the attention of the owner that the Jets were not working, she only said well it’s old. We also didn’t like having to clean our cups before we could use them. They were dirty. We also brought this up to the owner and nothing was done about it. They only said well that’s not something you want to have to do upon arrival. I have learned A lesson with this rental.

Accurate to Description

Property is just like the pictures and exactly as described. we stayed here in December, so for that hot tub time we were able to see the snow all around us. we enjoyed seeing the deer and wild turkeys in the neighborhood as well. this property is on the mountain so of course thats a plus, and is about a 20 minute drive to the Garden of the Gods, short drive to the Helen hunt falls, pikes peak and other things. the owners were quick to respond and even let us know beforehand that they were going to clean the hot tub. Overall great stay

Great location

Great location and backyard. Deer greeted us as we arrived to the house. Very peaceful. House very clean and spacious. Hot tub amazing. Only complaint is pillows and blankets on couch a little too worn for my taste.

Disappointing & Frustrating

While the basement was nicely decorated and the views were very beautiful. This stay left us very frustrated. We travel frequently and usually use VRBO properties, and this was by far, the most disappointing stay we've experienced. To start, we wanted to have a drink in the hot tub. There was a sign indicating no glass in the hot tub. However, there were no plastic cups provided. This ended up not being important when there wasn't a single bottle opener.. Additionally,,, when we did finally use ethe hot tub, there was only one working jet. Additionally, for 2 adults staying more than one night, 2 towels is NOT a sufficient amount. Nor is one mini bottle of shampoo even close to enough. It was uncomfortably warm and, evidently the heat/AC is controlled from the upstairs. For what we paid pe4r night, the amenities were sadly insufficient.

Peaceful Stay

Neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. We saw deer wandering the yards in the area every night of our stay. The accomodations are clean and spacious. Bathroom and bedrooms are nicely separated so noise from early risers don't disturb those who sleep in. We enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful and Perfect

This spot is perfect for a quiet stay and has a peaceful view to enjoy. The rooms were just what we needed for our quick trip to Colorado Springs. There were nice touches like mints on the pillow and a fully stocked coffee station. Located close to downtown and 15 minutes from major attractions in the area. I would definitely stay here again if we travel to the Springs in the future!

AMAZING COUPLE GET AWAY

This was a lovely experience the owners were amazing and the view and place was to die for. Absolutely amazing as the place had all necessities needed and more. It was amazing to come back after a long day of exploring Colorado and getting in the hot tub and enjoying the view. Would def come back again ! Totally reccomend you book with this amazing place you won’t regret it :)
