Great place to explore and unwind
This is our second time staying at Angeltom with our family celebrating the holidays. We loved the addition of the outdoor lit christmas tree. The kids and grand kids thoroughly enjoyed riding around in the Kawasaki mule exploring the woods and all the fun statues. We caught and released several large catfish out of the main pond, as well as enjoyed watching the deer come in at feeding time. Made many cherished memories!

This is our 3rd time staying at Angeltom and everything about this property is top notch. There are things to see and do for everyone in the family. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to get away from the hustle and bustle.

You won’t be bored!!!
We did the Wild Hare 10k for the first time and had originally planned on staying at the large cabin at Bastrop State Park, but unfortunately it was booked. Lucky for us, because this place is like having a state park all to yourself. There are numerous trails with lots of hills and gorgeous scenery. In addition, there are delightful statues and scenes all throughout the property. If you like photo opportunities, you will be ecstatic!!! The age range of our group of nine was 22 - 49 and everyone had a great time and found something they enjoyed wether it was the jukebox, fishing, driving the UTV, playing vintage video games, archery, paddling in the boat, napping in the hammock, or sitting on the porch and listening to the birds and the wind. The outdoors here is unique. The hosts were great and the house is fully functioning and has all of the things that you may forget to pack. I loved that the kitchen table in the cabin was big enough for our group of nine to eat together. The hot tub was great for all the sore muscles after the 10k. We enjoyed the Wild Hare and everyone wants to race again next year, and I hope the Angel Tom Cabin is available.

Stayed here with family for 3D2N, i must say, staying here feels like home with a touch of nature. My kids loved the the activities especially the fishing part. The host is very responsive to our queeries. Also, their jukebox is so cool!

The Happiest Place on Earth
I truly cannot speak highly enough about this place — it was our family’s third time visiting over the past three years and the memories we make each time are absolutely magical. My twins chose a trip to Angeltom for their 8th birthday and we had 15 guests including 8 kids ages 3-10. The cabin: Despite our big group, the cabin never felt crowded. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything, and all supplies and items are well organized and clearly labeled. Everything is always clean and well taken care of. The property: The true magic is outside at Angeltom. Some of our favorite things to do are relax in the hot tub, play at the pond (where the kids could spend the whole day fishing and paddling the boat around), and of course wander the amazing trails that are littered with antiques, statues, and surprises at every turn. The dads in our group love giving the kids “safari rides” around the property on the UTV, and our whole group enjoys picnics down at the second pond before playing the MOST EPIC games of hide and seek you could ever imagine. From early morning walks watching wildlife, to evenings around the campfire with the jukebox playing in the background, every day we are Angeltom is The Best Day Ever. The Hosts: Angelina and Tomas are not only helpful and quick to respond, but they are also exceptionally thoughtful and kind. I am so grateful to them for curating this amazing slice of heaven.

We had plenty to do and see while we were there. Being able to use the mule and fish and smaller boat was an amazing plus. Jacuzzi was clean too. We hope to come back again.

Awesome getaway from city life
We absolutely loved our stay. Soo peaceful and relaxing! My kids loved all the fun statues along the trails. Deer running around at all times of the day and the breeze through the trees… omg yess!! The can and rv were very clean and had so many accommodations. We will definitely be back.

Exceeded all expectations!
The photos don’t do this place justice. While they give you a good idea of what’s on the property, they don’t show how beautiful everything really is. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and artsy. The decor is unique and there’s everything you need to enjoy your stay in the cabin alone. The outdoor space (hot tub, dock, trails, etc) has all the entertainment you need. We had the best time exploring and didn’t even get a chance to see it all. We’re already planning our next trip back! Thank you for an incredible weekend.

So much fun!
Such a nice place to get away but still have plenty of things to do. So much to find and so many places to explore. The hot tub was much bigger than we thought, and was very clean! Many areas for sleep and most of them are in their own area for comfort. Lovely little cabin, very homey and perfect for a getaway.

Adventures in the Piney Woods
I found the perfect cabin to share a couple nights with all of our our children, their spouses and all of the grandkids for a most memorable holiday gathering! The cabin itself was comfy and cozy. The view of the pond and deer from the front porch was so relaxing. But the magic was roaming out into the woods to find all of the cool and interesting statues and structures. It was as if we were in our own magic kingdom. Lots of wonderful memories were made and we cant wait to return! The hosts were super responsive and friendly.

A fun filled weekend!
My friends, family, and I stayed a weekend at Angeltom cabin in LaGrange. There were 16 of us in total and we all had a great time and enjoyed the many amenities the cabin had to offer.There were so many activities to enjoy such as fishing, canoeing, off-roading on the UTV, enjoying the hot tub, and getting in touch with nature. I was also pleasantly surprised with the number of beds available to comfortably sleep all 16 of us! I especially enjoyed the communication with the property owners who were always available to answer any inquiries we had. This was an amazing weekend full of several fond memories. Thank you very much to Angeltom cabin, I hope to be back soon.

Great Place to Take Your Family
We had a great time at the cabin! The place was clean and well stocked with accommodations to make your stay comfortable and fun for everyone! We really enjoyed riding in the golf cart exploring all the fun stuff throughout the property! Deer, fish and birds galore. My family loved it! We will definitely be back!
